Yeh that for me really stood out, one because it was beautifully done, but also because it’s such a decadent looking pattern for a humble Ork hunter to have whilst roaming around
I can only assume at this point that other competitors hear you are entering and just not bother putting in an entry because they know they stand no chance. Unreal skill. That bedding roll was superb.
This, this is the kicker. When I transitioned from modeller to youtube modeller my skills almost halved, its very tricky to paint to a high standard with a camera wanting the piece to be in frame and focus all the time 😂
He's painting a solid, 3D object. Which, to me, would make me use solid colors. But his style of cross-hatching and stippling reminds me of pointillism, and make the piece look like a panel from a graphic novel-- come to life! It's truly amazing. Just getting the paint to flow off the brush in all those fine, cross-hatching strokes... doesn't even seem possible! AMAZING!!! :)
Your painting man, I just, I can't, the beauty, the technique, the time, the conceptualisation, the delicacy, I just, no words. I feel strangely emotional watching them
Your pieces always blow me away! Theres not many amateur painters I enjoy watching solely for painting montages. Those are more instructional to me to further my current skills. However the professional class like yourself I just simply enjoy for the awe factor. The amazement of your techniques and colors decisions gets my brain to try and comprehend such high levels of artistry. I just find myself in a trance and I know Im not alone on this. Someday I do hope to try and attempt to process these levels of painting skills so I can get to this high standard of award winning skill
There's miniature painting, and then there's this. You are an artistic necromancer, bringing every miniature to glorious life. Every painting I've seen you do deserves an award.
Pure chef d’œuvre Bravo l’artiste ❤❤❤ Je reste littéralement scotché devant votre travail , quelle profondeur quelle richesse C’est de l’art ni plus ni moins❤❤
Orc aesthetic has always struck me as the easiest for anyone to pick up and be OK at it, but the hardest to truly master This just reinforces that idea. Amazing work.
That's was incredible, watching a true artist at work, wonderful brush work, the effects of each layer going on, just fantastic mate! All the best from Scotland
Thank you, I have never seen such a magnificent work developed. Congratulations. Congratulations, everything is perfect, every detail has been minimally worked on.
A comment I left on an instagram post, I will use here as well: My life is better witnessing the talent and brilliance of others.....After an already fantastic looking piece, to go back for subtle touches with the airbrush. To see in your minds eye, the touches that take it to another level. - Cheers
Just when I thought the model already looked fantastic around the 15min mark you pull out the airbrush again and up the paint job even further into the stratosphere + additional highlights adding even further. Absolutely beautiful paint job!
Watching you make the base it made me wonder if, especially for an ork, if u could put a tiny plant pot and have real cress growing on the base, just for competition showcasing. Absolutely amazing work
Wow. I know I’m an idiot and am just a tabletop mini painter but I just watched this transform from a bunch of scratchy painted lines into masterpiece and I can’t say when it happened. Your brush control is amazing and your understanding of where to place highlights and shadows is also amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I feel the same way. Even the first layer of some of the parts of this mini if I was doing it I’d see the brush lines aren’t opaque or something and think this is gonna go no where. Even watching the master here I’m like “ok that seems a bit like just scratchy lines” and then in hardly any time he pulls out and it’s the most fantastic piece of art on plastic I’ve ever seen. How simple it seems is crazy at times.
This is so great. Wonder how many hours of work are into this. People just see these short UA-cam vids and don't know the big effort behind it. Really amazing piece of art!
Last time I painted figures was like 30 years ago. Back then it was basically: base color, wash, then dry brush. I never thought about painting a 3d figure as if it were a 2d illustration. Beautiful job!
美しい、素晴らしい
I always nearly fall asleep watching these, not because they're boring just totally relaxed 😌
I nodded off at least 8 times.
Always fall asleep to Sergio’s videos…the music and production are so relaxing
The music is soothing and the delicate attention to every detail is mesmerizing😮❤😢
Agree, mesmerising ❤❤
Your are the Boris Vajello of miniatures
very magical
Every figure l'll seen you paint deserves a award.
The painted embroidery on the sleeping roll is magical!!!!! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

The fact that you can paint like this ON CAMERA leaves me speechless every time. 😍

Sublime, vous êtes le Léonardo de la Figurines - Bravo
Que obra incrível
4:14 The brush strokes perfectly synced to the strings. Beautiful.
Your painting man, I just, I can't, the beauty, the technique, the time, the conceptualisation, the delicacy, I just, no words. I feel strangely emotional watching them

There are no words. You are a great master.
Brilliant use of color, Sergio! It's easy to see why you won an award for this!
Pure chef d’œuvre
Bravo l’artiste ❤❤❤
Je reste littéralement scotché devant votre travail , quelle profondeur quelle richesse
C’est de l’art ni plus ni moins❤❤

That was freaking awesome!!!
I would like to give more 'thumb ups' than UA-cam allows
Absolutes Meisterwerk, mit so viel Geduld, die Feinheitet detailliert gemacht❤ Auch mit schöner Musik hinterlegt!
Orc aesthetic has always struck me as the easiest for anyone to pick up and be OK at it, but the hardest to truly master
This just reinforces that idea. Amazing work.
looks like that orc looted an outdoor fashion shop
so satisfying
Thank you!!!! I hope you like the next videos
That base is lovely.
The masters always make it look easy.
That's was incredible, watching a true artist at work, wonderful brush work, the effects of each layer going on, just fantastic mate! All the best from Scotland
This is glorious. Thankyou. Im usually a military modeller, but i may have to borrow a few techniques when approaching a future project.
magnifique🤗
Absolutely outstanding, fantastic work,
I am at a loss for words..watching you create this inspired, relaxed, and well...just made me feel better to be honest...thank you so much!
A wonderful piece of art
❤
Thank you, I have never seen such a magnificent work developed. Congratulations. Congratulations, everything is perfect, every detail has been minimally worked on.
Amazing work
Genial Sergio, como siempre!!!
Absolutely gorgeous! I never knew you could use thin strokes like that.
I was wondering how he was going to bring it all together. Then he airbrushed over them. I don't think I have seen that method. Looked very good.
@@1971mav very interesting method indeed...he is basically painting backwards...detailing first and then thinned down base...
@@1971mavhe airbrush glazes on most of his pieces, it's much more efficient than doing it by brush most of the time.
a fantastic painting by Sergio for a magnificent sculpture by Valentin Zak
wow

Absolutely beautiful technique!!
Simply stunning, the brush work and control is out of this world, thank you for sharing another master piece.

The brush control says it all. Unreal
These vids are so zen and calming with the precision of painting and the music and then I get all mad after realizing I can't paint this well 😆
