My biggest blunder was losing a minute on the last mission because of the task forces being so badly timed. But at that point it's like... I did all of the rest of them well enough.. so screw it. Any improvements to be made should be mostly speed related and not as much logistics.

I seem to remember that if you deploy and sell your allied MCV right away (edit; in the last mission) they will chronosphere you another one and some more vehicles. You can repeat this many times for free money and units. Been a long time since I played, enjoyed the video.

well, if you play multiplayer (LAN) you are able to play coop missions (even a Yuri Campaign exists already!)

I played LAN a lot. Yuri was my favorite faction to play. :P
a Yuri campaign would only have 1 mission
capture the electricity plants and when that's done activate all of the dominators
Oh the nostalgia, 2018 now and I still think this game had the best cutscenes.

I remember the 'movie stars' in the second mission originally being direct rips on Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. I mean, they even had unique voice actors trying to mimic their voices, and they were given lines taken from those actors' popular movies. Anybody else remember that?
+Kalvin Wike Your memory serves totally right. It is the version problem. Seems US version has those parodies while EU version does not (or 1st edition vs later-made 'platium edition'?), possibly legal issues.

According to the wiki, their names were removed and their voices changed for that of the GIs as a placeholder in patch 1.001 either due to a legal dispute, or in fear of a legal dispute.

I will give you a tip. In last mission, move your MCV to left down corner really fast. You can deploy fast there, there are gems nearby and if you get there right away, you can intercept yuris engins and get free 3 oil drills.

Thanks Yuri's Campaign's completed the missions
In the Massivesoft mission all you have to do it target the nuke with the weather control device and you will finish the mission in just over two minutes.

I preface this by saying, I have the utmost respect for anyone who can do running commentary while speed-running. But you really could use some more enthusiasm in your delivery. But thanks for explaining your working thoughts as you go about your speedrun.

yoshq6 Oh, okay. So the scripting gives you aircraft carriers when Tanya dies... I would have thought that Tanya needed to be not killed. That's usually how these missions work. So I was surprised to see you kill your own units there.

Why does your action movie heroes have regular GI VO? Im pretty sure they had special VOs in the version i had :O
They got sued or something and they rmeoved the special voices afterwards, so the newest versions dont have it.

Your mic is too close to your mouth, I think, it makes your voice really loud and hissy on your 'S' sounds. Or get a microphone muffler. Pretty cool that you were able to do the whole campaign so fast though.

Hey man, apparently there is released Mental Omega update for RA2, you can play skrimish and campaing with Alied, Russians and Yuri, there are also new vehicles and units (the nations in skrimish and gameplay are similar to C&C Generals). If you want I can give you the download link, since you didn't upload any Red Alert videos for more than 1 year now, I'd like to see you doing the Mental Omega missions.

How many times u did much attempt each mission. It's not simply route u found fast I think it took so much times compliting the fastest each mission
took me about two months to get the entire thing right
Any tips on making this game "playable" in windows 10? Mine runs way too fast and the mouse isn't responsive at all.
+Tookster That's an interesting problem. Maybe try different versions of the game (from different sources -- disc, iso etc.), running the exe file in compatibility mode, or changing the resolution on your PC.

How can Tanya be available in mission 5 after giving her to the dogs?
And how she doesn't get affected by psychic towers? I played the game but I had taken the power out first.
She didn't die...he skipped a cutscene where medics take her away.
I think she says in mission 5 that she is trained to resist basic psychic attacks or something like that....in red alert 2 there is a mission where you have to destroy a psychic beacon in a stadium and she and her team managed to resist it's ability too....for a limited time...
here's a tip, dont talk when there's a cutscene...
