As a cis woman who has always looked much younger than my age, it gets better when you no longer look like a child. I was so happy to turn 30. People then guessed I was 21. Yay, adult age! But I got carded when I was 28 when I was buying a DVD that was rated over 16. I am now 41 and people think I'm in my early 30s. I only have a couple individual gray hairs and very few fine lines. I'm sure you will experience the same. It can be nice, but only after you look like an adult. I love the name you and your mom chose together. And keep lying about your dead name. Obviously people will use it against you if they actually know the real name.

My favorite thing in life currently as a somewhat newly transitioned guy (1 1/2-ish years) is people wearing Trump hats or blue lives matter merch gendering me correctly with no issues when I know damn well they would freak out if they learned I’m trans and they probably say things like “it’s so easy to tell when someone’s trans”.

this is where having a terrible memory comes in handy because i do not remember my friends deadnames. i’d be impressed if they remember mine because i met them after i’d stopped using it, so they only heard it a few times when it was called out when systems messed up in the beginning of high school before i’d legally changed my name.

As a transmasc/non-binary person I have changed names my entire life, honestly it was so hard to deal with especially when others pointed out how many times i'd change it. Made me feel like something was wrong because i couldn't stick to one identity, I was always switching it up. But honestly seeing your videos and channel made me feel like I had a place to call my own, somewhere where I could laugh at homophobes in a corner and not be judged, thank you! ^^

I came out at 13 and realizing I'm trans literally saved my life, I attempted suicide at 12 because of my dysphoria but I'm happy to be alive now at 17, my dysphoria is still strong but I'm not harming myself anymore

I chose a name that was a masculinized version of my deadname which helps a bit with the transition! It always makes me laugh to think terfs think trans men want to be teen boys. Like yes, my goal is twink but also if I get old while on t, i like to think i'd take after my father. He was a babyfaced guy so it stands to reason i look younger.

Before I came out properly some family friends came to stay and all the kids assumed I was a guy called Keith. It was very funny and I accepted the name even if it was the most generic name they could give me.
Most gender affirming thing that ever happened to me was when my classmates wanted to prank someone by introducing me to him as a guy and I suggested they should introduce me as 'Tobi' (my chosen name).
And one my friends just said 'That name fits you so well, you really look like a Tobi!'
Makes me smile every time I think about it.

Also, when my parents chose my siblings names, they went with the way it is traditionally spelled where I live instead of the more american/english spelling and I wanted to match that (like for example Lilli instead of Lilly).

Many places require that everyone be ID'd, no matter how old they look. I was ID'd recently when I bought some spray paint at a hardware store! I'm 74 and my beard is white.

Personally, I wouldn't say I look young but apparently I do, I know they are just covering themselves but it's nice sometimes to feel young again, even if getting my id out is a bit of a hassle
