I was wondering if anyone as got Omnirig working with Ham Radio Deluxe ?. I cant get this to talk to my FTDX10 via HRD. I can get my radio to talk with SM direct.
Didn't work for my ft-991. I hate going back and back and and back because something has been done way too fast. Settings/ radio is a different screen on my SM.
Hi Stu mate. I've return to this video to setup my 710. Having trouble connecting my 710 via omni rig. Have you had issues with yours. Could even be the usb cable 🤷🏽

@@G5STU managed to get it working. Thank for your work I used the ones you recommended which didn't work at first but as soon as I tried rate 9600 in Omni rig and changed the radio to match it just started working 🤷🏽 thank you for your assistance 🙏🏽
How do you get it working for keying radio with one cable? Thanks for the video. It seems like every one skips this part. Thanks for all your videos. On the IC 7300. I know I have seen people doing this but no one seems to explain it and others say you have to use a CIV cable.
@@G5STU I know and it works great when using flrig, however I can't get the ptt to work at all when using onmirig. And I see several people having a problem in various comments but no one ever finding and sharing a solution. In onmirig it seems as if the pins are set high or low which implies no program control. In fact I can get it to work with almost every control program other than onmirig. However onmirig is need to integrate several programs running at once.
My SunSDR2 DX made by expert electronics is not under rig type is there another way that I might be able to use this. Or do you know another way. Thank you De AC1O

This was SUPPOSED to be a video on setting up OMNI Rig. You lost me completely when you switched to discussing logging software... and started changing settings we had just set. One thing at a time please. OMNI rig itself was difficult enough. Never did get it to work... was OK till the data logging part.
A quick question, why do you prefer version 1 vs version 2?
Because version two is not supported by many other programs so is effectively useless.

No, worked first time, select DX10, baud rate 38400, Data bits 8, parity none, stop bits 2, RTS high, DRT High. Try that mate.

Hi, the software can `key` the radio via the CAT control , so in WSJT-X (for example) in the PTT settings select CAT. Or did you mean something else ?

Make sure you have omnirig v 1.2 not 1.9
Select 'Kenwood' (said Alex) - I had same problem as the TS-850 wasn't specifically listed either.

Hi. you can't .. download YONIQ instead, it's a clone on MMSSTV that does support OmniRig, there is a recent video on my channel about setting it up.
