Hi, I want to thank you for your excellent video on installing SDR#. Unfortunately my Lenovo desktop 3i , running Windows 10, has been totally unable to recognize the RTL-SDR blog dongle. Believe me, I have tried everything to get it seen, but no joy. My next step is going to be converting my outdated MacBook to Linux Mint, and then using it to use RTS- SDR on that platform. In any case, thank you for an excellent video on the steps needed to install RTL-SDR on your computer. Many thanks, and I HAVE subscribed to you.
Zadig will not run on my computer. And I am not the only one. 100's Of post on forums with ppl who can run sdr because of zadig. Is there an alternative to zadig?
Thanks for the video, I just installed, on 5/26/2021 and needed to install the .NET service before it would run, if on Win10, the x86 version worked for me, I would've thought the x64 would be needed as I'm running a 64-bit OS with 32gb RAM, but it wouldn't work until I installed the x86 version. Does anyone know if I missed something as to why the x64 didn't work?
Great video, watched it a while ago and got my sdr working. I got a new pc and doing the process over but in zadig it's not showing a driver to replace the windows usb driver, in the text box for the new driver is "(None)" any ideas?
Would this kind of setup be possible on a Raspberry pi? I'm considering making a portable radio using this device with a raspberry pi and a power cord plugged into a car cigarette-lighter outlet, but I'm not sure how well that would work.
Don't know if I got a defective device or what. I checked Device Manager and drivers are installed but I cannot get Airspy to detect it, even after hours of playing around with it. As soon as I press Play, I get a popup error saying "No devices selected". If I click the Gear icon to configure the RTL-SDR Controller, it opens with the "Device" field blank. I did get an FM radio station briefly in HDSDR but now can't get anything. It's getting really frustrating, as I want to return this thing, but the setup is complicated enough to make me wonder if I did something wrong. EDIT: Got HDSDR to work again, just barely. I pick up 2 or 3 stations in all of the bands, so maybe just a bad antenna combined with my bad reception area. Still can't get SDR# to detect the receiver though
Thank you for your video. I had to look at it and the second time i paid more attention and went a little slower and it all worked fine. I'm wondering if this RTL SDR DOOGLE will work with the MLA 30 antenna. I have one but attaching it to the doogle I don't seem to hear anything. Any suggestions will be welcome.
I have another question does any know if sdr sharp have or are thinking of make it possible to scan the frequencies that lock into your favourites list. 👍🇦🇺 cheers
Hello , I need some help. The SDR#does no do nothing anfter install . On top left corner three lines, source section it sees the RTL-SDR-USB but I cannot select it on the SOUCE tab donwn on the menu bar on left. There is nothing there and only E4000 appears over the fill window. How can I proceed?
I have one of these: @t I can receive FM stations in 88-108 Mhz range with good sound. When I switch to direct sampling and with long aerial into HF socket I can see many good strong signals in MW and HF bands. But when I tune in to the signal peaks I never get any audio. Maybe just a hum at best. I try all demodulation settings. Any thoughts?
Great vid! Subscribed! I have one question. I installed everything, I can get it up and running, but the moment I change frequencies or just click anywhere in the program it shuts down. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Appreciate the information.

I am not aware of an alternative.
Very informative and clear. Thanks!
Thanks David, glad you liked it 👍
It is working, many thanks.
Awesome, glad to hear it 👍
Excellent work. sir how I will upload my vice any frequency and from other pc I will listen give us example
I had same problem. Thanks to you though I downloaded x86 and worked fine.
The same. Thank you Bob!! I used too x86 thanks to your advice.
The stations show up on the screen, but all I hear is a loud hissing noise. I'm using CubicSDR with a nooelec dongle on Windows 10. Any ideas?
Sorry man, I haven’t used a newelec or cubic
got sdrsharp working but audio nit working i can see signals but when I click on play I get a quick burst of static then nothing?
Great video, watched it a while ago and got my sdr working. I got a new pc and doing the process over but in zadig it's not showing a driver to replace the windows usb driver, in the text box for the new driver is "(None)" any ideas?
Would this kind of setup be possible on a Raspberry pi? I'm considering making a portable radio using this device with a raspberry pi and a power cord plugged into a car cigarette-lighter outlet, but I'm not sure how well that would work.
Funcionando perfeitamente no Windows11, parabens pelo esforço em disponibilizar este tutorial. Recomendo, muito útil.
Thanks Jose 👍
Thank you for making this nice and easy for me. thank you!
You are welcome!
Hi ,thankyou i have purchased a dongle and follow your video.
Awesome, thanks for checking out the video 👍
Can we get an updated version of this video? They have updated there website
I can put it on the list, thanks for the suggestion.
If the MLA antenna is HF you may need to enable q branch.
great channel, any sugestion for software for macbook pro i am looking to get my setup in a week
It’s been a while but I used gqrx for Mac 👍
I have another question does any know if sdr sharp have or are thinking of make it possible to scan the frequencies that lock into your favourites list. 👍🇦🇺 cheers
Hello , I need some help. The SDR#does no do nothing anfter install . On top left corner three lines, source section it sees the RTL-SDR-USB but I cannot select it on the SOUCE tab donwn on the menu bar on left. There is nothing there and only E4000 appears over the fill window. How can I proceed?
Sorry man, I've never seen this problem
I have one of these: @t I can receive FM stations in 88-108 Mhz range with good sound. When I switch to direct sampling and with long aerial into HF socket I can see many good strong signals in MW and HF bands. But when I tune in to the signal peaks I never get any audio. Maybe just a hum at best. I try all demodulation settings. Any thoughts?
Great vid! Subscribed! I have one question. I installed everything, I can get it up and running, but the moment I change frequencies or just click anywhere in the program it shuts down. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Sorry man, I have no idea.
