I believe the metal fuel line runs in front of the thermostat housing, under the coolant hose, to get to the carbs. Running it over the engine like you have, may expose it to too much heat and cause vapor lock.
BTW- The metal vacuum line follows the same path from the distributor to the carbs (at least on the Tr4a it does). The rubber grommet you mention has a cutout for both.
WARNING: I noticed your rear axles have no rubber snubbers above the frame. They go in the A frames that are by the fuel pipe at the fuel tank. That's not good to have metal axles hitting metal limit stops.
Ooh that's funny - we have a couple of those things kicking around and I could not figure out exactly where they are supposed to go 😂. "In the a-frame" makes so much sense.
Yay a tips portion! I like that he basically blames you up front, "So Mark bought this stuff."
Awesome can’t believe we’ve got this video. Great job fellas
Thank you for watching!

Ah got it. Good to know. I see the bracket and rubber thing on the parts diagram now too. What bolt on the engine does that attach to?
Wegs Garage I have it attached to the lower bolt of the thermostat housing, right below the upper radiator hose.

Great! We need to replace that vacuum line as well. Thanks again for the info!
Wha!!!! Go back a couple tunes! 🤣. That was awesome
Uuuuum.
