@@BelLavoroAutoSpa The P&S Inspiration Fabric Coating is an Acrylic Fluoropolymer base. Which is also used in various paint protection/gloss applications. Just cause it's not Ceramic based doesnt mean it can't offer great protection, might just be shorter cycles. I don't know for sure though, which is why I'm interested in someone testing it in a comparison that has access to these various products.
Scotchgard on 💉 Great analogy! I can see I didn’t apply it correctly. It was a while ago but now that you mention it the fumes were quite powerful. Legit upgrades.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa haha shoot I have too and I'm just curious like dry time and smell and performance who's better. I know buying this stuff is like buying gold 🤣🤣
Awesome video man! I was just about to buy Carpro Fabric, but I think I’m going to wait until Carpro Fabric 2.0 is available. Seems like 2.0 has some good added benefits over the original (especially the 3 hour drying time).
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa I don’t think so. I bought it like 2 weeks ago. I was wondering why there was an extra generic spray nozzle with it. Found out after the Carpro not working. BTW I don’t know if anyone brought this to your attention but the fabric 2.0 side is lighter and the older fabric side is darker, it wasn’t the light. I just used the Fabric2.0 on my carpets and all the extra carpet around the foot well and trunk around 6pm and the next day around 4 it still smelled INCREDIBLY strong. I turned on the air to just floor and cracked open all windows and left it on for like 30 minutes, have to recheck since I just turned off the car and came inside.
Would be cool to see this compared against like the P&S Fabric protectant.
I can confidently say that ceramic fabric protestants will blow standard fabric protrctants out of the water.

Hey man I'm curious if you have tried the new Gtechniq Smart Fabric. If you have I would love to know your opinion on which you think is better
Have not tried it but have heard good things about it

Yea might as well wait, it should be out soon
It is out now
have you tried this kind of fabric coat on the linen type inner fender walls on rear wheels ?
No but I don't think it would hold up very well.
Only other thing is you seemed like might have applied quite a bit more product on the v1 vs the v2 because the sprayers were different….
That's possible yea. V1 is discontinued anyways so this was more of a showcase of what's new with V2.

It looks like v1 is much darker
That's just the lighting because my body was casting a shadow.
I really do think it was darker too
