I have tiles over the whole kitchen floor . Now I am looking for ideas how to remove tiles by the floor cabinets…. There is a pros and cons about have tiles underneath the cabinets.
What about the dishwasher? Let’s say I put down tile, and between the waterproofing membrane, mortar and tile it’s let’s say 3/4 inch thick… can I still push in my dishwasher ok? Asking because we are doying our kitchen and going to be installing a DW
When I replaced my kitchen floor, they pulled out the dishwashe and placed the tile under the dishwasher. You do need to check how much space you have from floor to under countertop. I would think if you didn't put tile under the dishwasher, then you would have difficulty pulling out the dishwasher in the future.
@@vanessarench5211must have under the fridge. Many refrigerators have wheels or rollers that allow the appliance to be pushed into place easily as well as pulled out for cleaning or moving. While some refrigerators have front legs that can be adjusted down to keep the refrigerator from moving forward, some do not. Can’t tell about dishwasher, I really don’t know .
I am a contractor who does floors and I agree with this. Cabinets first.
What about the refrigerator, can it sit on top of laminate flooring?
-well, wouldn't people change cabinets before flooring? Also, is Laminate is ok for kitchen floors? any?
Mostly contractors do this to save $$$.
Thank You
Agreed 👍
