- MUSHROOM SALAD (Laab Het)
INGREDIENTS:
Bunapi mushrooms
Cilantro
Green onion
Culantro
Shallot
Fresh thai chilies
SEASONING:
1 tsp Msg
1- 1/2 tbsp Fish sauce
1 tbsp Toasted rice powder
1 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Lime juice
Adjust seasoning to your liking. Don't forget to like, subscribe and share.

Looks yummy. It's interesting as growing up Lao we usually or mostly do protein laap (seafood, beef, pork, etc) so it makes sense you can do vegetarian style as well. Good job and thanks for sharing 👍

I don’t have toasted rice powder. What does it do? Anything else i can use?? Looks delicious .. can i use any type of mushrooms as well?
Yes, you can use mushrooms of your choice. The toasted rice powder add nutty flavor and for textural elements to the dish. If you don't have it you can leave it out, or substitute it with toasted sesame seeds.
