Only wish they had regular ARC rails, I can't find a good M-LOK adapter kit for my walker razors. The set HHV sells is back ordered by 4-8 weeks, and it doesn't even rotate so what good is it.
Unity Tactical makes an adapter for just about everything, and other helmet manufacturers are now starting to move to m-lok as well. We're currently working on a new rail adapter kit and are in the final phases of testing it, however our original design does rotate.
I've seen some interesting testing videos from Ulbricht with their titanium helmets showing impressive results. Do you have any comments on titanium as used in helmets, or they're testing methodology in general?
Seems heavy, but Ulbricht is definitely leading the charge in alternative material helmets, even if they are a bit pricy. They’re a solid company with a solid team too, which we like. We spoke with them for about an hour at SHOT.
@@HardHeadVeterans yeah, they are definitely geared toward swat teams, hoo heavy for the regular use of a soldier. I did find it odd that in their testing, they actually suspend the helmet with a mount, independent of the dummy head.
Quality control and assurance are paramount when using foreign manufacturing. A lot of the manufacturing issues from imported items stems from businesses not conducting proper QC.
Our ATE_Lite (seen in this video) is made at our manufacturing facility in Sweetwater, Texas. Our budget friendly ATE Gen2 is made overseas in China under our direct supervision with materials sourced in the United States.

Once I complete your ATE Gen2, I would be very interested in testing your new ATE_Lite model :)
GET THIS MAN AN ATE_LITE STAT!
:)
Do you want to just come make your own helmet? 🤔
@@HardHeadVeterans That might be fun to do at some point..
Thanks to HHV and thankyou Josh for this amazing wisdom!
Very happy with my HHV Helmet!
Great Job! Thanks for the info.
Now all you haters out there, have you ever seen opscore be this transparent? Me neither.
Great video starting to save up so I can order one!👍
Thanks for sharing this. It answers a lot of questions. :0)
Glad we could help. If you've ever got questions feel free to reach out or leave them here!
Please do some MICH helmet videos!!
May I request one filed testing with the infantry Unit thank you.
Is there a way I can install regular ARC rails instead of the M-LOK rails on my HHV ATE gen 2
Yup. Just buy a set of high cut arc rails along with their bolt kit and you're good to go. I did it with mine. Way better
Awesome
The legend. Every video, every time.
Glad I went with yall
Can't wait..

The HHV Mlok adapters are terrible. I think I bought my Mlok mounts from Gentek along with my Amparms.
Sorry, I bought them from Unity tactical. So far so good. Ran them at a few trainings.

@@irregularrex4004 Mlok rails are epic, idk why you don't like them. You can literally attach anything to Mlok lol
@hardheadveteransateballist5757 oh it does? None of the advertisements for it shows it as rotatable. But I'll look at unity tactical.

Sent me one for testing out on the field
When you dont use 1/2 the padding in your helmet in order to wear a headset :)
Not all Chinese made things are bad...we have Apple, HHV, etc. As long as it's made to proper spec it will be fine

EVERYONE is a expert 😂🎉
My question is, where is the helmet made?

I can just hear all the haters now , It's still a Chinese made helmet blah blah blah Chinese .
The helmets in this video are the ATE_Lite, with the exception of the opening slow-motion shot being the Gen2.
Will the M81 pattern be available on the Lite model ?

Thank you for the video! You guys should make a green MICRO LATTICE and call it MICRO LETTUCE 🥬 😂
We have discussed doing colored versions of the Microlattice in green and tan as well as black, we just haven’t had the bandwidth to work on it yet!
