Hard Head Veterans (ATE® Ballistic Helmets)
United States
Приєднався 26 січ 2016
Hard Head Veterans is a veteran owned and operated small business selling high-quality ballistic helmets like MICH helmets to the men and women who need them. We are veterans of the United States’ most current conflicts, and many of us continue to serve our country today through reserve or contracting roles. Every single member of our team is connected to the military or law enforcement, making us uniquely qualified to better understand and serve the needs of our customers.
Our company was founded on the belief that, too often, cost and administrative bureaucracy result in necessary gear not getting into the right hands until it’s too late. As a result, many individuals end up spending thousands of dollars on supplying themselves with equipment that should have been given to them in the first place. We knew that there had to be a better way.

200 bucks? Fr?
Unfortunately, it is costly to produce these.
@@HardHeadVeterans 200 bucks costly? This isn't new or particularly complicated technology.

Watched this video 5 times and it's still difficult to snap in the ear pro. I took the helmet off and manually performed the deployment suggested in this video. It's helping to "break in" the devise. It's so hard the wires might be bending but I think after multiple manipulations they will work, no wonder they give you appreciated advice on how to bend the wires since you'll inevitably bend the wires while figuring out how to operate.... I'm hopeful.
Try pushing in and up where the wires meet towards the top of the adapter, so that when you try to pop them in the wires are not bending.
Does this double as a sling bag?
when are these going to become available by credit card is ready.
I feel like i could 3d print this
Why is there such a price difference between your pop out kit compared to there’s? HHV is like $108 and this one is around $38 🤷♂️
My only complaint is the rail system on the gen 3. To mount any ear protection it costs an extra 100, just for same piece arc rails have for $20.
"East to clean" lel
That padding doesn't look comfortable. It doesnt look adjustable either. No thanks👎
God bless America!
Ballistic?
while they are made with ballistic fibers they are not rated for any ballistic standards.
These shits sit like 1.5 inches off my ears lol tried numerous different ways on the rails and no joy.
Why M-LOK?
Stronger more secure system. Also so they can charge you to buy their ear pro mounts
Ewwww mira
So if I have the safariland ear pro that are meant to be mounted to arc rail is this what I need?
No you would need a MLOK to ARC rail adapter. Commgearsupply.com sells some good ones!
Is this what you need for your ear pro that is meant for arc rails to attach to your m-lock?
Why would you build a helmet with m-lock rails when everything on the market connects to arc rails? I have an ATE light. It's kinda ridiculous
Crye precision doesn’t have a fast helmet????????????
Underrated asf in my opinion.
lol we think so too.
👍
👍
What is that mounting system called it’s not arc but???
M-Lock
This might be a silly question, why not make the PE helmet the same weight as aramid helmets IE; make them thicker. Wouldn't that make it perform better without sacrificing weight because it is the same as a typical aramid type?
Do you guys have a storefront?
No, but we are actually looking into it. No promises though.
Can I out a cover on the MICH/ECH Plus??
I was told the up armor didn’t work with the MICH???
It will work on the BTE plus. The regular BTE doesn't have a shroud, which is needed to mount the Up-Armor.
Can I add a rifle plate to it?
If you have a BTE Plus, then yes.
What suspension system is that? Did you guys switch from the snap back system to a dial system? If so where can I get one?
So it is our new dial retention system. Hit up info@hardheadveterans.com and they may be able to help you out. They are currently not listed on our website, but that may change.
AGE gen 2 is on the way! Thanks 🤜🏻🤛🏻🇺🇸
Awesome make sure to reach out if you need anything!
I just rub dirt in it and deal with the heat, like a man.
Armor companies like this are crooks overcharging 2000 percent markups. I mean I dam headlamp for 75 bucks is just greed
Great armor but 300 is steep. What is it with armor companies overcharging
The up armor is $269. Manufacturing complex shapes with silicon carbide and polyurea is expensive, unfortunately.
As someone who lives out in the desert I really appreciate these pads.
We're in West Texas, so we feel that.
Let me have a helmet as wearing sg
Get em jump approved 🙏
Do you have a line for that? This is a problem we've been working for some time. We've found it's more politics than performance.
Unless you get a dif head band cover of tap it back in place lol
Gen3 is a great helmet
Where can I buy it?
It depends on if you are talking about the safety helmet or one of the other helmets we sale. The safety helmet is not released yet. The other helmets can be purchased from hardheadveterans.com
@@HardHeadVeterans thank you !!!
Where can I buy it?
As long as it's light weight I don't care. These ones we are being forced to use are HEAVY and cause permanent neck problems.
how much are the ones you are being forced to wear?
What Are the pads on the inside called? I wanna get them for my helmet
Micro Lattice Pads
🔥🔥🔥🤘🏼
This dude is honestly a incredibly good shot if you haven't seen his videos. Faster than me by a mile and I have 9½ more fingers than him
🙏🙏🤘🏼 thanks brotha!
yeah he's great!
Bad ass equipment🔥
Mine falls out constantly. The adhesive you provide is trash. Had to superglue them in. Just FYI.
We are actually working on this.
Ordered mine today
Came in yesterday. Very comfortable
awesome glad to hear! let us know if you have any questions!
I will be your first customer when these go on sale, I watched over Black Friday but didn’t see any sale on these. I am happy with the Comfort PLUS pads y’all offer but they do rub my forehead after hours of training so I have been wearing a balaclava and they work perfect. 👍🏽
It's hard to put the MLP's on sale because of how expensive the process is to manufacure them. Both helmet padding systems are some of the most comfortable on the market though!
What id the Sling ??
Do they work good with the low profile rail adapter you guys supply?
Yes they do!
