You sir are a hero. I tried to pass this game repeatedly as a child but never could. Didn't help that there was glitches when attempting to save my game but I'm glad that I finally now know of the ending.
Can't believe someone actually did a full playthrough of this game. I was always fascinated by it, and it's Legend of Zelda approach... but also annoyed and let down by the ridiculous glitches it has, said glitches only being avoidable if you don't die nor even open the pause menu. That's just ridiculous. But at least the game lets you save, even if you can't keep playing immediately after saving due to the glitch.
I spent much time for researching how to avoid glitch too.And yes can't open the pause menu is annoying.The only way I know to pause the game is opening the inventory.
as a kid, I couldn't read English, so I never figured out you could save the game by talking to patrick... its a miracle I got to the first boss in the first place. I literally memorised the all the glitches/glitch spots in the first area. Heh, good times

what a game. i don't remember the past too well, especially from the time when i would play flash games like this all the time, but this one ALWAYS stuck out to me for some interesting reason... it was always an oddity, i suppose. maybe i wasn't aware of just how plagued with bugs it is, but i was surely aware of its strangeness. i remember something terrified me about it. some sort of version that started you in a bossfight i think i'm pretty sure i tried to play it a few times after that as well, and then gave up on it since it was scary and probably also frustrating. all in all, though, i utterly love strange old flash games like this, since they're so mysterious... especially with your own memories clouding it all. gonna go try to play it now. wish me luck lmao
The 2nd version just dropped you into a dungeon room from the 2nd world that just had the Lava king in it with no explanation. Can't remember if it gave you all your equipment or you were just with the spatula but he was pretty easy anyway. I believe it was an unfinished version cause I don't think he did the spin move. Or attacked much at all for that matter just teleporting around if anything.
Holy shit I was looking for this game forever, I couldn't recall the name until I saw it in a video with high quality music of a bunch of the flash Spongebob games- This is a treat seeing gameplay of it again- ^^
I love this game and it used to be ne of my favs wheni was younger but it has so many glitches and bugs especially when you go to the menu or try to save progress when i try saving my progress and click on the save bar it has a black screen so i have to start over. another annoying bug is that the save menu window doesnt leave even if i go back to the game .. is there any way to avoid those bugs?

Did you save your game in right place?You have to talk to "entity" Patrick to save game.(There are 3 place to save game.See 00:06,12:07 and the building in 37:06 of the video).If you see save game bar but don't see Patrick in that place,it will destroy your game progress and you have to start over because it didn't save game correctly. And if you want to pause your game,press "space key" instead. It will trigger glitch if you press "m key" and click "resume button".(In fact,only press "quit button" will not trigger glitch,but you will lose the game progress you didn't save). Hope these help

你問的這兩種bug在絕大多數情況下位置都是固定的。也就是說，只要記住哪裡曾經發生過然後在那些「地雷區」小心避開就可以了。（有少數情況是防都防不了但發生機率很小）
