- 4 Low Maintenance Looks for Ladies with Short Locs!
Flaxseed Gel Recipe:
2 cups of water
1/3 Cup brown whole flax seed
1-2 Essential Oils (I used lavender and peppermint 3 drops each)
1 tablespoon raw honey (I used regular honey cuz I'm regular)
Squirt of Vitamin E oil
Boil the water and flax seeds
Simmer on low - med heat until a frothy gel like liquid forms
Strain the flaxseeds out
Add honey, Essential oils and vitamin e oil
Cool in refrigerator
Lasts up to 14 days in fridge! Also the flax seeds are reusable so save them!

A minute into this video and I was smiling so hard. Love your personality . I started my loc journey yesterday (7-30-18) after a year of deliberating and I am so happy I did it . I've always felt the most comfortable with my hair in braids and know I will feel the same way with my locs. Plus I got to the point that I dreaded doing my hair when I was a loose natural lol.

Good morning I am 3 months in. I had sisterlocs for 10 years and I cut them off. I had a short hair cut for a year and now I’m doing comb coils. The difference between the sisterlocs and the comb coils are your sisterlocs will look good at all times and the comb coils look messy after about a week or so and when my hair gets wet. Thank you

And I feel like a human mop. Not because I haven't gotten my first retwist yet and I feel ugly but because it isn't ALL ME and it's highly noticeable.
