Do you have any advice how often I should re-twist my daughter's hair!🙏🏿 I worry because she's in school and I don't want it to look crazy at school. You know people don't understand dreads and I don't need anybody saying things about her hair. I know what people say or think doesn't matter but she's a 1st grader
Mrs McMiller I totally understand where you’re coming from. I would recommend once a month for her to keep the neat look. And you can do cute styles in between to keep it up.
Everytime I put my hair up it gives me a headache I'm assuming that isnt normal so what do i do i have have my locks for maybe 2 1/2 years
I get headaches after wearing my locs in a ponytail myself. Try wearing your ponytail down closer to the nape of your neck. And if you wear it up higher (not so tight).
I get this as well. I use the Goody ouchless bands & they seem to work better, also try not to pull the ponytail too tight. Whenever I get headaches to often, I increase my water intake & they tend to go away

You have any short like styles? My starter locs only come to my ear... And should I look for men styles? With yours I my be too pretty lol. I want to be handsome not pretty... Or am I putting to much thought in it
Cory Lewis Hey! Hang in there your length is coming! In the meantime you can do ponytails that will still look masculine! Nobody else thoughts matter. When my Locs were short I still styled em but mainly with a retwist! Explore! Maybe my videos will be helpful to you too! Pretty hippie is awesome too!
