This is my one year loc journey using images and videos. I hope this inspires you to have confidence in the good and bad days. My Locs have taught me so much about patience, growth, nurture and care and just ah! I've had so much fun with my hair over the year and I can't wait to continue the progress! The styles and versatility have lead me outside my comfort zone many times & it's amazing to watch yourself grow! Love you!

I was saying it to myself while watching the video. I’m like she never had an awkward stage.
@@workingprogress5214 she may not have posted images of her most “awkward” looks... my hair was 10” long when I started and trust me, long hair isn’t immune to the “awkward stage”🥴 what I notice is true, each wash day your locs tend to change until they are fully formed...
I'm only 2 months in and it's already locked. Because I used the two strand twist method and I live by the beach so I'm always getting salt water in it. And I let it dry completely before I put coconut oil on my scalp
how do you avoid the build up that comes with coconut oil?

I have loc's myself and they are 11 years old and I am 50...I am itching to cut off my old one's and start a fresh and I am in turmoil over what to do? It is Winter time after all lol.
