Very nice review, thank you and were glad your enjoying your order! :D
Yes I am very impressed by the quality of the build and the ease of setting up. Looking forward to getting the speed indicator working and on the rig.
Really nice review Fred very informative and entertaining nice job buddy
Thanks Gary. I try and make them easy and clear to understand without getting too boring. Cheers
Nice vid!! Looking for this and now im sure im going to buy. Thanks!
Its not cheap but is very well made. With rev burner its plug and play.
@@CB-RADIO-UK can this work on a Xbox
@@CB-RADIO-UK and can u plz send me the link where I can just plug it in and play if it works with Xbox
That is sick
I've been interested in the pro gauge for a while. Can I, for example, buy a BMW instrument cluster and wire it up? Do I need to buy special cables etc?
It is indeed possible to wire up any electronic car cluster with the correct converter and usb drivers. You will need to search on sim building forums for more information. Often a car tacho will not read high enough for race cars so many use a bike cluster.
Hey there! Great Video.
I recently purchased a Tach Stand from SR Hardware and can't wait to get my hands on it once it arrives.
I'm curious though.. is it possible to configure the Tachometer Lights, so that when you reach a certain RPM Range (let's say 8-9k) it will change Lights from White to Red?
Thanks in advance! Cheers.
Thanks. No not as far as I am aware. You can only set the large red and small led light to come on at max rpm. The background colour remains the same. Its a well made piece of equipment. Hope you like yours.
Thank you for your quick response!
Enjoy yours too. :)
***** No probs . Warning though these add ons to your rig become very addictive. I recommend the SRH Gear Shift indicator and the LED Speedo. I did video's on my channel for both. I fancy an SRH switch box now. All the best.
this is BEATIFUL! this have a USB connection?
Mijael Amion yes
Jason, No link mate ?
ɷ Heey Friendds I Have Foundddd Workinggg Online Hacck visittttt : - t.co/DpGBarCUaA
Lovelly:-)
bro one question, as im thinking on mounting a sim rig, with my G27 now that i have a 4k 55" tv for gamming. Imseriouse about making a dash to simulate a real dash, hiding the furniture where the devices sit.
So revs counter is a must, now i see you lerhaps a gear count too :-)
tell me something...does the needle continues counting after red light on, like independent top revs from where is ideal shift gear. Or is all the same set? I mean, where you set to be the red line, is where you need to shift gear also? Does the needle still goes until full engine revs?
Cause it seemed to me that were all in same spot, where you defined the red line, is where you need yo change gear, and also the needle doesnt gofurther
.if so, for me is a killer.
Cause beside being nead, i need it to be really handy. I dont need to know where the rpm pick is...is need to know is what revs i need to shift to uper gear:-)
thanks in advance
I ask this, cause sometimes ideal revs to change gear arent always top end...
Would be nice to be able to set engine top revs and also revs for ideal shifting....like one green light while the other red
Hi. The red change light is just the light that you set yourself to change up. The needle will go right to the end stop regardless. I normally set the light 500 rpm lower than max rpm to give me a reaction time in 1st and 2nd gear.
fredintheshed1 cool. Then is great piece. Tx😊
Is it possible to change the position from the big red LED to the other side? I saw some videos where the LED is on the left side.
Great vid by the way!
Yes i think you can just undo the collar and twist it around.
fredintheshed1 Glad to hear, just ordered it already :)
Its quite expensive but dose work well. thinks its also been improved since the video.
thx for movie
i have same tachometer from ec sim hardware .
i think i gonna install him now after your movie.
just the products of SRH is just plug and play ???
Yes they all use Simdash software which is a free download. Once Simdash is installed they have automatic detection and your away. Early next week I will put up a review of the gear indicator and digital speedo so pop back or sub for notification. Cheers
fredintheshed1 ok big thx. I see iracing is not auto config. A shame lol.i have 3 screens also. I use on my g27 : z1 sim wheel, on left screen this meter and maybe on right also a gear indicator. I will wait till you do your review. For me is importent plug and play. Grtz
Yeah agree with that. I think its the fact that iRacing and Assetto are in consistent development which prevents an auto config file. This means you have to set the max rpm for each car you drive. Having said that SRH supply an 11000rpm xls file which does a good job with the calibration. In the video the screen and tacho shot was actually before I had loaded the xls file so it was pretty good out the box. With the xls file it was spot on.
fredintheshed1 again big thx my friend. It works also in here wahoeeew :-)
works fine on iracing, game stock car, etc.... Just need some finetuning but thats for next wheek lol :-)
look foorward to your next review.
I live in holland, so if i buy this do i get a normal power adapter, not a uk version?
Kas Bosker I think you can request this via an email at the time of ordering. Better check though.
Run whit SIM hub??
Hi. What about when using a formula one care >11000 rpm ?
Good question. I think without adjustment in the software it will max out.
Very nice review. Do you know if this could work on the ps4
Afraid not as far as iam aware. The extra dials need a PC software called Simdash to operate.
hey. do u know if the SR hardware works on Xbox one ? specific game :forza horizon 2 ? or forza 6 :)
+Goldartifact302 When I made this video it did not as it uses Simdash software to work. Not sure if Simdash have launched for the Xbox.
+fredintheshed1 okay. do u have a list of working pc games for it then. I want to have it on my g920 wheel. but how does it connect and stuff.
I wish they made a boost gauge
If you buy the controller card which has a 12 volt output you can use normal 52mm car gauges via simdash software. I am not sure i the current version supports a boost gauge.
Are you able to use this with the Xbox one on forza
No sorry its PC only :-(
Would this work with rFactor?
Not 100% sure. You would need to email SR Hardware to check.
hi mate, not my cup of tea, but very interesting
Cheers buddy
Different cars, different shift points. Cant be adjusting the tacho every race. It should go through the software luke other brands do.
+rowanlewisuk Yes there is that I am afraid. That's a problem using a genuine car tachometer.
a dealer truck ? but fiat 1035kg abarth was 132 horsepower
??
yes i'm dealer thanks
is this a waste of money? since you can do it by yourself pretty cheap?
Depends. I think your right saying you can do it cheaper. I have the break out board and another 4 52mm gauges waiting to build a dash and all that lot cost less that the Rev Burner. However it is nice to have, out the box, plug in and play every now and then.
Bro submit spain is possible?
Not quite sure of the question. This will only work with PC games.
Can i use this in console?
Not as far as iam aware as it uses software which is pc based only.
Is it compatible with ps4 pro?
Hi. Not at the time i made the video as it needed PC software.
How much the price of tachometer please?
The new version is £75 uk pounds.
www.symprojects.com/categories-gauges/racetech-95mm-electronic-tachometer
Thanks bro
Est ce que quelqu'un pourrais me dire si ça ce branche sur ps4? Et comment?
Hi This product is PC only as it requires drivers.
is it safe to buy?
Yes it runs on low volts so it wont kill you. If that is what you mean of course.
no i dont mean that :D i mean that website it safe to order?
:-). yeah i think its ok, least when i got my gear. I ordered 3 products which were prob more than £250 and everything was fine for me. Its a bit expensive but high quality.
nice :P
