- How to make a DIY USB Indicator light stalk switch mod for Euro Truck and American Truck Simulator ATS. Using a 4 way lever and joystick arcade encoder. This is the updated version 2 of my Indicator mod.

Man... It'd be awesome to see every one of his DIY projects incorporated into one sim rig. He'd probably need 300 USB ports for that, though.

Up to 127 USB devices can be connected to PC
@@TheGEJMERTV Actually you can connect up to 127 devices per USB Host Controller. A ordinary PC usually has several of them. And PCIe extension boards allow to connect additional controllers. So don't worry, 300 devices aren't a problem, theoretically. Would be still a mess as you would need a lot of powered hubs. :D

Hey man, I have some questions (not very related to this video). I'm currently in the process in making a custom wheel for my thrust master t150. What I would like to build in there are the circular selection knobs you find on the f1 steering wheels. What is the best way to do this?

Hello. Is it possible to use two USB joystick boards at the same time? I'm going to build a button box and light and indicator lever as two separate projects. Wonder if I have to combine both in a same board or it is possible to use two boards at the same time... ?

I’m confuse. Is the pcd board has a different housing? Or both the joystick and pcb board are in one housing all together?

might sound like a stupid question but could i use that in farming simulator for a wheel loader joystick also so i dont have to have the Logitech joystick that is so big on my desk? and if i make this do i just plug it in my computer then go do the settings in the game?

How can I add this to my Logitech g29 with out pulling it apart
I thought this would be kinda shit because the 4 way lever doesn't stay in place like a real indicator stalk, but since the game simulates self-cancelling indicators it works perfectly

I'm currently building this for my 2.5, but I am not sure where to put the circuit board. The cables from the joystick to the board aren't that long, where are you hiding or mounting it?
i am having trouble getting the joystick board to show up in the game like yours, were there some additional drivers that were needed to be installed to this joystick board? it shows up in device manager as a usb input device but not in game

Would it be reasonable to use the one encoder for two enclosures/sticks - one on each side of the wheel?
I made one of these based loosely on your first video and added some extra buttons and switches to my enclosure simply because there was a surplus number of buttons available.

Keep the heatbed Clean for one, I have the Ender V2 its perfect..

Sorry, weird vid to ask this on, but I might be getting the Logitech G920 for christmas, and I wanted to know, if I'm on pc and I do a custom steering wheel mod do I need to keep the original button pcb? I was just wondering because if I ended up customizing it and stuff, I would probably just use a button box off to the side.
Yes it needs to be connected for the wheel to work.

I made it external after your first video. You dont have to reach far and you dont need a 3d printer. Im working on some button boxes too one with the same joystick for parking brake
How can I mount this without the 3d enclosure? I'm going to make the switch with out the enclosure for shitts and giggles.

@@ZeeuwsGamertje I've printed 1 that works on a g25 - g27 don't know if it fit a g29 you need to make 3 holes in the case to mount it i rivenuted the case so i didn't have to pull it apart if i could add my files pics to the comment i would.

Might of already found it by now. But on Amstudio's pinshape profile he has a 3d printable hub that extends the wheel from the base of the g29 that makes enough room to place this indicator box behind it.

That's a shame was hoping it was available :( i have a 16 inch wheel i use for euro truck, is it possible to adapt this one to be a little bit closer to a deep dish rim? i brought the file but this is the first 3d printed project. Thanks for any help in advance :)

Just got a set for my G29. But I don't yet know how to mount it. I think i have to remove the pedalshifters to make place?

@@SuppehueDK i put mine on top of g29. I taped it with double sided ahesive tape. It stays firmly on top and is easy to remove if you want to

I put mine on the top of it. I used the double sided adhesive tape to mount it. It stays firmly on top of it and it is easy to remove if you chose to remove it
