- A look at the best sounding #dualrectifier and one with more options eg. Reverb and Tremolo. The #tremoverb Dual Rectifier from #mesaboogie. And sound examples from my amp. Also we take a look at the legends who use this #tubeamp through #concertfootage
Agreed… These are fantastic amplifiers. I have owned four of them since 1996 and every time I’ve gotten rid of one I regret it. Definitely in my top three amplifiers of all time.
Yes. And most people have no idea how good they are, Or that they're out there. Thanks for watching
I tight up my low end with a marshall cab.
nice. Thanks for watching
Good video
Thank you. There's more coming real soon.
Thank you for this video . I’ve contemplated selling or trading mine many times but every time I plug into it just can’t part with it . Yall should listen to Dave Meniketti “ on the blue side “ album . My personal favorite Tremoverb sound. He still tours with one . Listen to the song “ take it like a man” the Les Paul straight into the Tremoverb is sonic liquid . 🙄🤘🏼🔥
They're great amps. And not known about or talked about enough. Thanks for watching. And keep your Tremoverb unless you absolutely need the money. Since I've been recording I've gotten an even deeper appreciation for it...🤘
@@g_and_kikos_homestudio gona keep it for my kids . They’ll appreciate when they’re older . Who knows what they’ll be worth then haha . Rock on 🤘🏼
Couldn't this amp also take KT88s? I might be thinking of another boogie, but i remember this guy who would play at the same venue as us having a Mesa with Kt88s and it was one of the most incredible tones i had ever heard. Could have sworn it was a TremoVerb.
it does have a switch on back to go from 6L6 to ELs I never heard of someone putting KT88 in but wouldn't surprise me. Maybe with a mod???
Ive got a t verb head. I think the 2×12 head combo sounds better.my head is a 95/96
The combo is great. I love the weight a 4x12 gives me in my studio. I track even more though through my 67 Twin Reverb , combos are cool..
Tremoverbs and early 90s Mesa's are super cool. Do you have a Rev F or Rev G Tremoverb?
I'm not actually sure. I've heard people say they believe ALL Tremoverbs are rev F. But I've never gotten into the chassis to find out forsure. Thanks for checking out the video
@@g_and_kikos_homestudio : most are Rev Gs but there are some Rev Fs.
Thanks for the info. If I ever have a tech get in there I'll have him look. The only thing I'm good for with amps is playing them and changing tubes
