My son and I spent the winter months setting up a range on our property in the NC mountains. It’s nowhere near as nice as the hickok45 ranges yet but you have inspired us and one day we hope to have a similar set up. We’re both new to firearms - have been shooting for about a year now - and thoroughly enjoy your videos. On more than one occasion, as we’ve flailed away trying to hit the down-range targets, we’ve looked at each other and said “dang, hickok makes it look so easy”. Thank you sir for the great videos!

I have enjoyed your videos over the years…your expertise, humor, and skill are amazing. I note at the start of your videos you mention companies and products which help you and are products we as the viewing public might use, and, or enjoy. Have you ever considered promoting gun safes? I bought two from Sturdy gun safes out of California and I am very happy with them. The thing I like the most is the way they are built. Steel doors, not plastic, and many options for fire protection and added security measures. They are not the fancy finish safes some manufacturers sell. And they are not cheap. I have no connection to any safe companies but I thought you could add this product to your initial presentation and help yourself and the people who watch your videos. Keep up the good work. I have some of the guns you have demonstrated. I love my Sig 365….my Rugar mini 14, my Benelli M1 90, and my CZ 75 sp01. Thank you for your videos and leadership protecting our rights to own firearms in the USA.

Another great Sunday shoot around. Going to check out the Canik Rival as my possible next pistol purchase. I was born in 1976, grew up in the 80's. I feel like my generation is the last one to appreciate/respect the generations before us, living in the U.S. and understanding the freedoms that come with that, having two parents in the household was more common, etc. Feels like it's gone downhill since then. I've also noticed that in my 'old age' of going on 46 next month, I've gotten more conservative since my mid 30's.

Well, I'm not sure about "different"; I've probably had it out for about three different Sunday videos. I just really like it and thoroughly enjoy bring it out for plinking!

I take your advice every day!
I'm a flintnapper. I usually make at least 2 arrow heads a day.
Otherwise I'm building bows and arrows. Trust me when I say that I recognize good wood, as you mentioned that rifle.
He's right, it's important to do something with the hands

My childhood was very similar to yours, but I'm 32. I feel as though it wasn't the best decision on our parents part to give us that freedom, but I wouldn't have changed a thing and I'm better for it. That being said, the world was different in our childhoods and from my experience it seemed less safe in my age than in previous generations. It just feels that people now a days are too comfortable in their "safety" and on the flip side the world just isn't as safe as it used to be. Like anything there needs to be balance.
