Sad to see that Lamborghini’s SC63 will likely miss Daytona, but at least we will see them at Sebring and the other Michelin endurance rounds. Another great video Stu!
Yeah I understand they want to test for extended periods of time, but look at where the 9X8 was it started. Getting actually race data seems to be better than running alone on test days.
Dang, I was really excited to go to the Rolex 24 to see the Lamborghini out on the track as ever since 2017 Ive been going every year since. there's only really been 2 manufacturers and Mazda for a few years, so yeah that kinda sucks.
Yeah there were a few lean years during the DPi era but we have 4 now and maybe we'll get a hypercar come over for the Rolex next year (fingers crossed!)
Darn. I live in Daytona and attend every rolex and was really hoping to see the lambo. Oh well, at least the mustang. Is likely to debut and I prefer the gt3 class cars anyway
I was NOT impressed by the reveal. Look past the classic lime green Lambo livery. And you don't see that many Lamborghini features. Looks like a DPI car.
@@asymsolutions Yes. Cadillac is awesome. Has features from the Corvette DP actually. Porsche is fine when its not the horrific Penske livery. Acura...meh. nothing special. BMW is one I really like a lot as well. Alpine renditions are impressive too. Of the LMDH's in terms of looks my ranking is 1. Cadillac 2. BMW 3. Alpine 4. Porsche 5. Lamborghini 6. Acura
@@WyldStallion-bs9oo Curious to know which features from the Corvette DP you see on the V-Series.R? Wouldn't make much sense to take features from GM's 8-year old race car of a Corvette and put them on a Cadillac prototype imho.
One car we know will be on the grid at the Rolex is the new Mustang! 👉 ua-cam.com/video/L_xeVoCP1Uo/v-deo.html
The way IMSA races are set-up compared to WEC, it’s definitely worth it to run Daytona…
What do you mean?
@@98MTBiker IMSA’s race procedures are more forgiving than WEC, more yellow flags/safety car periods, wavearounds, etc. You just have to keep going…
If they can get it there, even if it breaks or isn't competitive, it would be worth it for the race data.

Thanks Jonah! Yes disappointing that we likely won't see them at the Rolex but still gonna be great to see them on grid next year!
@@offintheesses heard Alpine going to imsa
@@Bncxx1275 They haven't officially announced anything for IMSA yet but it looks like theres a good chance they race a car in IMSA!
Even if they would be dead last they should still run. They need the track time
I doubt they would be dead last
I really hope they do what BMW did... The amount of data would be a lot

@@guybeingaguy who said anything about money? This is a factory effort here. Don't think that would be an issue especially with one car.
@@guybeingaguy yeah it does. But nothing prepares you the most than a full 24 hour race.
According to the flag on his suit, Kvyat has become an ...Italian🤔
no V12 😞
I believe Doriane Pin will be in the car for next year, at least for endurance races. She's likely to be the same caliber driver as Michèle Mouton.
Would be amazing to see her in the car and would be a great choice! She has been doing a great job this year in the LMP2!
Yeah, I want to see her get a shoot. I think they are just waiting for she to get her enough points to get a Gold rating for next year.

any news if it will be in iracing
No news at this point!

It certainly seems likely that he could be announced at seasons end!

and don't forget about the new Corvette!!
