Great video! I have a barn-shop I do powder coating in. I use a parts cleaner, then warm water rinse and into a dishwasher without soap on the longest cycle and heat dry. After that I spray with alcohol and air dry. Powder coat and into the oven. I’m building a 3X3X6 ft oven to do four rims at a time. Look into the dishwasher. It works great!
I know this is an old video but for future viewers, DO NOT use assembly lube, use brake fluid as a lubricant to assemble. I would avoid using that orange disc stop quiet, use the bronze lube that Brembo provides or a similar type. If you're still going to use it, make sure to apply it between the metal side of the pad and the shim. Should not be on the outside or make contact with pistons (shown in this video).
Assembly lube and brake fluid don't mix and will contaminate the entire brake system, breaking down the seals in the master cylinder and all calipers. They look great but if you really love your girl, you need to flush the crap out of the brake system at least twice, or she may not be stopping by or stopping at all.
Beautiful color. I put the STI 4/2 pots on my '16 WRX and painted them a flouro yellow, but its not acid green enough like those calipers. Will eventually get it done though.
Brake fluid and grease are not compatible. use brake fluid to lubricate the pistons. The grease can cause serious problems especially newer systems with antilock.
Nice job, great color & finish.the only thing is you should of added is a clear powder coat after the brembo stickers to sandwich the sticker, plus it gives it a higher gloss.prevents from falling off.
That’s ideal but then we would be talking about another level of PC: multi stage coating which his gun might be not up for the task. Probably grab some spray max 2k and call it a day.
Yo DEVIN!!! You got a part # or suggested replacement for the front caliper halves bolts? The star bolts that hold them together. Stripped tf outta one of mine 😅
@dvniemela where did you get the rebuild kit? I’m looking for the exact same 1 for my Genesis and I can’t find it anywhere. Unfortunately, the link for it isn’t working.
Brembo's own recommendation is to use paint when touching up / refinishing their calipers because the process of baking the powder coat will affect the material properties of the aluminum calipers.
You could have made them pop even more by doing a white base coat followed by color and clear coat and the would be super bright and the clear would make them look super deep. It’s alittle tricky 3 stage powdering, but doable.
Love that color I wish we can have all Those tools in my country big fan of your channel, thank you for your videos I am an Evo Owner from El Salvador.
I´m searching for along time this exactly colour on pinstripe to match my calipers but i cant find it.. anyone knows where to buy ( if there are.. ) ty
Really nice video dude. I just picked up some 17z Brembos and plan on doing the same thing. Great work and great video. Thank you! Quick question though, is it okay for the lube to mix with the brake fluid??
Your voice sounded so familiar. Iv watched/subscribed Cameron's channel for so many years and yall both sound identical 😂 yall both have greatly detailed videos! Will sub to you 👍🏻
Pretty awesome video Devin, I thought about power coating my own BREMBOs but I didn't think it was this easy, I guess I'm risking it and going for it. Keep up the great work 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥 #BREMBO

Aluminum takes longer to heat up, I do powdered coating and you have to turn up the oven to 500 degree or more to get them to get to 400 degrees.

Powder coating brembo is so satisfying to watch.

You can see KIA and the Hyundai emblem on those Brembo calipers @2:26
No primer or clear coat, hopefully these last longer than a set done with them. Should do a update video so we can see if they lasted
Love seeing a non-clickbait title from you. Also, thank you for all the brembo videos. Got me super confident to do mine now!
Did you added clear powder coat after the decals?
hi men, i have a question.. how much powder (Lb) did you purchase or use for this project??
great vid! the biggest flex was the oven in the garage 😭😭 gotta powder coat my brembos asap! appreciate the vid 💯

Just watched your video, great content. Was wondering how much powder it took to do all 4 calipers?
@dvniemela where did you get the rebuild kit? I’m looking for the exact same 1 for my Genesis and I can’t find it anywhere. Unfortunately, the link for it isn’t working.
What car did these come off of?
Can you powder coat with an oven with a fan built in or will the fan ruin the finish
Can you update the links for the caliper rebuild kits
Just came across your channel and now i can’t stop watching, awesome vids man. Next big UA-camr right here.
is there a special type of heat vinyl used for the stickers that you applied.
Can someone tell me what the point of powder coating the brake rotors is? Wont the surface just grind off immediately during braking? Thanks
Can the mask stands 400 degrees? What is the brand of the mask and made of what material?
Brembo's own recommendation is to use paint when touching up / refinishing their calipers because the process of baking the powder coat will affect the material properties of the aluminum calipers.
Not all powders are oven cured
If the metal of the caliper change on mere 400f then Brembo have a lot more of worry about their calipers than how people refinish.

Awesome job on the caliper units and rotors. Bet the looked sweet on the car!
Where did you learn how do to everything??
Where do you get the brembo decals
It looks like brand new!
Will using assembly lube cause any issues if it's mixed or touches the brake fluid in that piston?
Should of used brake fluid, the assembly lube will contaminate your brake fluid
The quality of content is insane
Is this just regular powder? Will they not react or go soft when the calipers get hit under breaking?
Did you plug the brake lanes or drain the fluid out?
CAn you do this for a 2017 GT350 same color! I am in Hampton GA
What air compressor cfm would be good to use? Thanks!!!
What can’t this man do? Props dude
