Yay, it’s my 2nd day of wearing braces, it feels like everything will fall out when I bite foods so, I slice everything into pieces. I only eat through my tongue and swallow it. It’s easier to adjust that way.

Can I drink flavored protein shakes like vanilla and chocolate or no their to sugary or do I have to just rinse my mouth and brush my teeth after a bit of doing so ?
I recommend brushing as soon as possible after drinking or you can just rinse your month if you don’t have much time brushing. The key is if you drink /eat anything sugary, just rinse your mouth after it.

Why do we have to get used to it? Why don’t you just create some brackets that’s don’t feel like saw blades omg we could send somebody to the moon, but we cannot create brackets to fit on your teeth that are comfortable. What is wrong with society that we have to make excuses for manufacturers of things that are uncomfortable inside our body. Yes there will be some uncomfortable when your teeth are moving that’s a given but the fact that this stuff, pokes and prods and scrapes at the inside of your mouth it’s not cool. I’ve had braces for two damn weeks and I am still not used to it yet. Why don’t we have covers? That are reusable on your brackets and I’m not talking about wax

You can eat rice, but you have to cut each gran up five times and eat a single cut grain a time. That’s what I do,
I broke a bracket while eating bread, so the wire got loose and it was the worst experience ever. Since then, I haven't eaten bread :/

There are also other options like Invisalign. Also you can always try to reinvent braces and make a new product!
