I actually recommend dark purple or blue, because those colors stand out more. I actually think that green is a good choice but maybe not emerald green.
As someone who had braces: don't pick a light color if you want it to stay somewhat the same. Certain foods/spices can make pink look orange, grey look an ugly greyish-gold/ make it greenish. I can continue like that for a while. I had that problem a lot less with darker colors
Yeah, from my experience light blue can become green from some spices and take a few days to get back to normal. Dark purple or pink tend to work pretty well

If you are a simple person and you want a mature color ,less attention on you, silver is to go color, it doesnt stain at all plus makes your teeth looks whiter. That is what i get everytime i go to my appointment.
As someone who’s had braces for 2 years… I always go with black. It makes your teeth look bright and whiter and no matter the food you eat it won’t stain the colour of it!! Because I’ve chosen other colours in the past but because of the food I eat, those colours turn green yellow or orange.
I started with transparent rubbers and then went up to red. But after those two I always chose dark blue. That was always the best option. I noticed others in my class with yellow and green rubbers, which always looked dirty. But nowadays I would go fully in and do a rainbow.

I got light blue on bottom, and white on top. I have quite white teeth, so my orthodontist actually recommended it. The light blue ended up changing into a really pretty light, metallic, silver. Definitely recommend!

This is because of the chemicals inside the material trying to stick to things to get colour. Another thing is clear or white materials can easily pick up dirt, dust or colour from anything quicker than any other colour. This is the same with ties on braces! Do not get clear unless you'd want it to turn yellow.

A color that i reccomend for you’re first color is sliver, just so you can kind of get a feel for braces and see how you will want them to look in the future when you get new colors
I sometimes miss my braces, Lol I always loved mixing up the colored rubber bands between top and bottom, and feeling cool as heck. Hot pink and Neon green were what I always went with.
speaking from experience, i really like black, it makes your teeth look brighter and goes with your outfit, black goes with anything. dark blue is a good choice as well because it also can brighten up teeth and is a nice color. light blue is good, it fades a couple weeks in and looks silver-ish .
Well I only have my bottom braces in rn bc i have an expander , but i got hot pink & aqua blue , those are really pretty . But i recommend brighter colors for dark skins & darker colors for light skins

personally, i've had teal (bluish color) twice (and silver now because i had to have something added to mine WHICH IS ALSO A SAFE OPTION THAT YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH)
i got it on july 17th 2021 and my teeth are already straight lmao (had to get braces because one of my adult teeth are stuck in my gum)

Please don’t do it, everyone thought I had plack and dirt in my teeth.. some lighter teeth might look better in it, but don’t do black if you have dark teeth like me! ;-;

I sometimes miss my braces, Lol I always loved mixing up the colored rubber bands between top and bottom, and feeling cool as heck. Hot pink and Neon green were what I always went with.

speaking from experience, i really like black, it makes your teeth look brighter and goes with your outfit, black goes with anything. dark blue is a good choice as well because it also can brighten up teeth and is a nice color. light blue is good, it fades a couple weeks in and looks silver-ish .

Well I only have my bottom braces in rn bc i have an expander , but i got hot pink & aqua blue , those are really pretty . But i recommend brighter colors for dark skins & darker colors for light skins

I recently got braces! I chose the color maroon/burgundy because it makes your teeth look amazing! I’d say the best colors are like a royal blue or a navy blue or maroon!

Well, I do not have braces yet. They say when I’m older I might have to get them. But blue is my absolute favorite color. So I’m glad is one of the best colors. I think a dark or light blue would be absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for all your tips and advice.

I recommend getting grey or silver. Honestly I’ve put them for the past 3 months. Plus braces won’t hurt trust me it just feels a little bit weird at first.
