I’ve been following HYROX for a couple of years. It’s so brutal. Way to go!! I’d like to try one of these someday. Unfortunately the closest one is about 900 miles away.
Loved this. I'm really curious about Hyrox, are there movement standards? Like knees have to touch the ground in lunges, breaking parallel for the squat in the wall balls?
Yes. There's an official rulebook with standards on their website. Like most fitness competitions, it's hard to get enough competent judges so they are very loosely upheld.
Cool! Just don’t get why you still only using Heart Rate. A muscle oxygen sensor would definitely make more sense in Hyrox! I guess you would even be able to pace your running this way. Just something to think about for next time.
I would argue it's actually very different than CrossFit. Maybe you're just using the name for popularity/views, but calling it CrossFit 2.0 doesn't make much sense. CrossFit rarely trains in the 60+ min time domain, does nowhere near the running required in HYROX, and contains Olympic barbell lifts & advanced gymnastics, which there are none of in HYROX.
Bro, have one question about your body fat percentage-on all your videos, you show it being around 17%, but visually you look more like 20%+. Why is that?🙃
@@nuclearpistachio I didn't mean to offend the author in any way. I have great respect for Shervin, and I'm genuinely interested in his opinion on why it's like that.
Why? It’s accessible for people who didn’t grow up playing a sport, seems like a good social gathering/experience, you buy a ticket to participate they’re not pushing you on upsells
@@David-dk4sh Have you signed up for one yet? They try to upsell you on quite a bit, not to mention forcing you through their merch tent and charging for spectator tickets.

Hunter was really good at stuff that wasn't gymnastics or heavy lifting in crossfit...which Hyrox ignores entirely. However the Hyrox race is still crossfit style training
I have so much respect for people who can complete HYROX ... what a commitment! Nice job, guys.
@TejasHullur Is soo pretty, he has that actor or muse beauty to be a painting subject or sculpture. Well done fellas!
Great job guys looks like you guys had fun
Yes shervin, love your video's!
Thank you for the content. Fun event. You guys did great.
I have been looking forward to this video
Great content! Enjoyed this one
Oh this looks fun!!!
Awesome job guys 🎉

nice to catch you on that day!
Wow! I loved the video, really enjoyed it! Would've love to have a small background history of how Hyrox came about!
There are some great HYROX videos on UA-cam!
Really great video, hope they come to Toronto
Wow, great job guys!
Hell ya! That was cool!

Nice time!! GGs
Quick question, did you track this as a workout on the Apple Watch? If so how did you do it with it being running and stations at the same time
Shame it wasn’t a longer video. Another day in the life would be great.

i would like to know if this was spontaneous or did you prepare for it? how ? ;-)
Where do you find those graphs?
Hyrox website!
@@ShervinShares sorry to be a pain. I couldn't find it. Any more specific?
Audio commentary for sled push and sled pull is the same.

Time for you to do one!

I think I hold most of my fat around my belly. Also I haven’t tested in over a year so I might be higher now. Maybe it’s time for a new DEXA
You must be a Nick Bare Fanboy 🙄
soo its crossfit
More accessible
MetFix is CF 2.0 ….. Hyrox is CF 0.5
Seems like a CrossFit light ????? I never heard of this Workout .. seems interesting 🤔
Dunno man. Hyrox looks like super lame scam.

Crossfit 2.0? Lmao please no. Why is a failed crossfit athlete in McIntyre one of the best hyrox guys?
