Raw and selvedge are two different things, selvedge refers to how fabric is weaved and raw refers to unprocessed denim (unwashed, preshrunk, etc). There are selvedge jeans that are not raw, and any jeans including non selvedge jeans could be raw.
Depends on the fit. Now these days, younger generations are wearing the loose-fitting ripped jeans. As a 30+ plus adult, I dont see myself wearing those. If im gonna wear ripped jeans, I'll stick with my slim/straight fitting one

Personally love straight leg and relaxed fit jeans they are just not overalls baggy and not slim or tight I feel are just timeless
That's me right now. Im in the middle between relaxed and slim fit . Definitely not skinny at the moment. I sometimes wear baggy (not parachute pants)
