Their vintage Airstream is a true American Icon and has so many original parts and decor. This 31’ travel trailer has sleeping for up to 4 people and seating for many.

It is so nice to see an older Airstream kept original. My wife and I have a 1971 Sovereign 31'. We kept everything original except for a new A/C, refrigerator, and toilet. Of course we updated the electrical and plumbing systems. We wanted our vintage 70's Airstream to look like a 70's Airstream. Thanks for the tour.

This is one of the nicest Airstream Trailers ive seen. Others ive seen have been updated and are nice too but this one is much nicer due to it being in the original condition.

This is the first Excella 500 I’ve seen that has the “500” on the awning like my 1977. Beautiful original condition survivor. I was hoping he would talk about the retractable water hose reel and retractable 30amp power cord but he skipped it. They are so convenient when setting up and disconnecting.
I’ve always heard that “the Airstream” camper is the top of the line!! After seeing this video I can see the great quality that Airstream has! To still have its beauty after all these yrs!! The quality of materials used to build this camper/trailer have to be top of the line to still be in such great shape from being made in the 70’s!! LOVE it much better than the newer camper trailers!!
I must add that this camper has personality & style!! Making it so much more enjoyable to be in on those rainy days when being outside at the campground isn’t so nice !

Wow! What a great Airstream that has been well cared for and maintained. Amazing that it still has the original carpet. This couple shows how you should take care of an Airstream.
So glad that you kept your disc brakes. I installed disc brakes when I replaced the axles in our 66 Tradewind two years ago.

I love vintage Airstreams. That was a very nice trailor. Lots and lots of storage. But the best thing about it is it looks like home. When you look around it doesn't look like a camper. Large bathroom with a mini tub and a large window. That camper looks just like a home. It has sort of a sixties look. Thanks for the tour. You always do a good job sir. And as I mentioned before thanks for finding the time to always respond. Now my standard closing remark. Good job Patrick. 👍👍👍

Those pocket doors should replace their lame curtains. I’m also amazed that the roll up doors are still in tact and work!!

Thanks to both of you very well explained I own A 76 argosy motor home for around 30 years not as clean as yours issue is didn’t know some stuff you mentioned. By the way you guys kept in very nice shape thanks for sharing.
I always knew that Airstreams were the best and this video proves it. They literally thought of everything. The surprise was the 8 track tape player, I had to smile on seeing it. They made them so usable by thinking of everything like the built in spotlight and putting the bathroom in the back. There’s a huge difference in quality when you compare the campers that are being made today. Thank you Patrick, and thanks to the nice couple for showing us their gem

This reminds me of the ones we saw on the road as we’d be in out Starcraft fold out(2sides) with 4 kids and mom and dad! Which was perfect but my dad would always say ....when we get rid of you kids( ie when the kids leave home) Mom and I are going to get one of these! He’d always go talk to folk within and get the low down! By the time they got rid if us they needed the doctor a lot and stayed home! So they never got to do air stream life! But thanks for the memories!

Does that pipe thing for the outdoor shower stay there at the side always or it's removable , bcoz like on the road with that hanging on the side wouldn't be a good idea for other cars ? I didn't see how you go party /pee , your toileting ways , maybe i missed it , but am sure i didn't see your toilet . But all in all it's a beautiful build , lovely home on the go indeed 🇿🇦🇿🇦

They replaced a Few of their lights to "Lights that are not hot" but yet it seems they left all of their other lights to Old Bulbs? So they are wasting 100-250W atleast on Lights when they could be using 20W
The ones they left, they barely use. It’s always not necessary to upgrade every fixture.
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures I'd think it makes sense now though just because an led bulb is so cheap compared to even 5-6 years ago.
