No Buffalo accent?? Well done. Obviously you have given a presentation or 3. I love this Scamp. You will love Alaska. You may never want to go back to Buffalo. Safe travels, and I will look for your Scamp in 2022.
I saw the notification while I was leaving work, and was so excited to see a molded fiberglass trailer, because I'd been looking at Trillium, Armadillo, and Scamp trailers as options. Then to see a fellow Buffalonian (and the Joe's sticker) was an added treat. Thanks for the walkthrough of the Escape. Maybe we'll see you around town!

David is an amazing brand ambassador for Escape Trailers.. I went from looking at several other brands/styles to firmly being sold on this one, based entirely on David's walkthrough. Thanks guys, and greetings from Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦
How special to see an ESCAPE. I live in Canada and bought an ESCAPE a number of years ago when Reese, the owner, was just putting his ideas together of what he envisioned in a trailer. I went east to Ontario my first year and came back to BC to see Reese and report in. I had created my own screen door with Velcro that was cumbersome. But he liked the idea of a screen. So he stored my trailer for free over the winter while he worked on a prototype of screen door and when I saw it used on this unit, I remembered how my unit was used to make the first screen door. Loved it. Thank you for featuring the ESCAPE.
What a wonderful video! I've had my 2019 17B since October and still learned a couple of things! Thanks to Patrick for the excellent questions and care taken in videoing, and thanks to David for such a thorough tour! Hope your photography business picks up again soon!
I like his trailer, it seems functional and inviting. I like that it doesn't look like it has rivets going through the side walls like the Casita does. This brand looks durable and I like the spray foam option.
And the fact that the walls do NOT have carpet. From all the videos I've seen, it appears to me that if you are a long term RVer or you want to live in one full time, the Escape RV is the way to go....or perhaps Oliver trailers. Although Oliver trailers are quite expensive.
"Twice a yr I flush the water system decontaminate it , and ...there's insulation available underneath the trailer to winterize it!" Wow, didn't know these were available! So glad you mentioned it, plus the double paned windows and the interior wall insulation. Working on getting my own someday. Love the information, will look into this, Thanks! 👍♥️
Yeah . I'd feel toatally safe in one of these. Storms, predators, human predators, and you could even mount ah wirles ,bluetooth camera on thee outside if need be. This looks like its built very durable. Great video ,showing every option n switch lol. Awsome.
I wonder how his goal to fill in his map went. Without AC I hope he checked off the Southeast in the fall and winter, or stayed in the mountains for summer trips
I like seeing a trailer as it is used... Not some brand new unit that hasn't even had the solar hooked up yet. Very nice presentation of a personal trailer.

I love that trailer. If I owned it, I’d upgrade to a Tesla car battery for around $1000 and add another solar panel. The fast charge at any charging station is the big bonus of this upgrade. It’s what I used to build my electric Jon boat. It now has unlimited range. With the solar panel system
Hi Jean. I take reasonable precautions when I'm out in the middle of nowhere. I have great insurance should I ever need it. I won't let fear keep me from enjoying this lifestyle but I understand everyone is different.
Excellent tour, excellent channel. I didn't know about escape trailers - I'll be checking out their website in the very near future. Sometimes UA-cam's algorithms work just like they should!
I see why you havent visited all of thise souther states. Every single one of those states, you are going to BEG for an AC unit! Its hot and humid af down here. Im in florida, and trust me when i say, YOUR LIFE depends on ac down here.you will be covered in sweet and the humidity wont let your sweet evaporate, so you will just sit in puddles of sweat and thick humid air that you can practically swim through. Yes, it's that bad.
Shop well if getting an air conditioner. Ours can’t begin to ease the heat and humidity here in Oklahoma for any of our local trips. Loved touring the Escape! We are considering trading up to that 16/17’ size someday & looks like the Escape would be perfect. Our 13’ Campfire trailer is just so dandy in so many respects... yet a separate sitting area/grandchild bed could be tempting. Curious, Dave, did I notice right that California hasn’t been visited? Sure a lot of beauty there, but we haven’t traveled it by RV yet. Should we have concerns?
@@dorothydemaree7544 I've been to California many times, once in this trailer. I'm sure I'll be out there again in the next few years. Thanks for your comment
