Scott, interesting you brought up the rocking chair. I have pudendal neuralgia And I find that the rocking chair does seem to help. I don't know if it helps because it actually improves the glide of the nerve or if it just downregulates the central nervous system providing relaxation.
This is very interesting Dr Jess. Have you any wisdom to share on the benefits of the use of a rocking chair for sacral care? I have found this subtle movement to be most profound and soothing but cannot find any information on it. Thank you.
Interesting one Scott, I’ve not thought of this before however we use an articulation technique as part of our toolbox of techniques so i would imagine the rocking chair is a little like that - gentle small repetitive movements that increase blood flow and joint lubrication, also most likely calming the nervous system also, which will help with recovery.
