My father is diagnosed with pudendal neuralgia , mild inflammation in left inferior harmorrhoidal branch . He is undergoing a daily intense unbearable painfull life 2 years long . Dozens of painkillers daily . The pain starts immediately after he goes for poop . He has taken two steroidal nerve block injections but the pain is still there . Completely out of ideas what to do , how to cure , how to get relief from this cursed life 😢.

AhHa moment to use a soft ball. Foam roller is okay but the soft ball is a better anatomical fit. After your demo, it would be great if you get more geeky with describing and explaining the physiological mechanisms going on. You “hinted” at them and it deserves some geeking out

I got a deep tissue massage 2 weeks ago and I have now great pain in that foot area since the therapist pressed there strongly and a lot. Should I avoid walking for some weeks until it doesnt hurt anymore?
Tough to say really. That’s unusual that it’s still sore after 2 weeks. There may be some bone bruising that can take 6-12 weeks to heal. Movement is really important, as is getting blood flow to the area so I’d reccomend trying to keep moving as much as reasonable. Some calf stretching may help and some magnesium cream or spray on the foot and lower leg.
I dont have any problems with this nerve but Im pregnant and read that it can be an issue😅 so, Ima start early practice!

what is this exercise indicated for? does it help strengthen the QL at all?
QL does sidebend the spine and that’s part of the exercise however there are more specific QL strengthening exercises.
Actually I feel pain under right rib cage when breathing deep. My right neck and shoulder is also paining . What to do?
Any thoughts on that area also feeling strained and tight with bent over rows on that one side when the weight is going down? Standing lateral flexion that area is tight. My PT thinks QL but I'm thinking otherwise. Maybe the external obliques or serratus posterior inferior.

What about just using an extra small elbow compression sleeve?
That could help if you can’t get voodoo floss. The voodoo floss is extremely tight so is much more effective.

I mix these in throughout my work day (desk job) and I get tons of relief from neck/shoulder tension. I've found using my armrests as if they were dip bars has been most effective.

Been having chronic butt rectal pain for months now and been to numerous doctors. No one can figure out what’s wrong. Started PFT and she gave me these exercises. I’ve tried it twice and both times I’m in excruciating level 10 pain all day after. Not sure if I should continue. Literally had to leave work as I couldn’t handle the pain and was crying. She said do it like half way now. And do some breathing to calm my system but that’s not helping either.
I’m sorry to hear this. Have you got an osteopath in your area you can consult with? Maybe some hands on work can get things started then the exercises will help more.

Thank you so much for the video! I have a small question.. about my left rib pain that has been going on for the past year. But I might have to give you a bit of background info first. I dance aerial hammock, which sometimes require me to suspend my whole body with my arms then fold my lower body mid-air until I become upside down. I cannot attempt to do this anymore due to what feels like a muscle knot right under the inner side of my left breast. When the muscle isn't inflammed, you can even feel a little knot with a clicking sound. I've tried TPI, physio, etc. to no avail. Do you think that an injury like mine would be permanent? Some people have told me so. I am going to incorporate your massage technique everyday from now, but I'd like to figure out where I can go with my dancing from here :(
