- From North to South, and from the western coastal ranges to the eastern foothills of the Andes, Chile has a multitude of climates and landscapes in which to produce wine. This one-hour webinar explores both the classic varieties which helped to establish the country’s reputation (such as Maipo Cabernet Sauvignon and cooler climate Pinot Noir) as well as the more innovative and unusual styles now being produced from grapes such as Carignan and Cinsault. Our very own Lydia Harrison MW visited the country in November 2019 on her first Master of Wine trip and discusses some of the hot topics surrounding Chilean wine.
As part of the webinar, Lydia talks about and tastes the following wine:
Clos des Fous 'Cauquenina', 2014
