    I just subscribed. Your channel is high quality sir. You answer questions seen on the comment section, that is very rare. You are genuine and thoughtfully sir. Will watch this a second time. I do have WiFi at my house. Not sure, but I think you mentioned the necessity for WiFi?

      Thank you. There is no need for Wifi. If you wish to view from another location, connect to your router. Thank you for watching

    I have just recieved that model. It looks like the camera connection should push in all the way and then turn it to secure. But mine doesn't seem to push in all the way and won't turn to securely connect. Am I doing something wrong?

      There is a bit of a knack to plugging in BNC connectors. Turning it around before pushing in to turn and lock. Thank you for waching

    Do you think I'd be able to connect Swann enforcer cameras to this Annke Dvr?

    • @Boopolo

      I could not be sure, as it is not a normal cctv camera. You need to read the documentation that came with your camera. Thank you for watching

      You will need to check before buying as the specifications change all the time. Most do not use a hard disc anymore. Thank you for watching

    Hello! I have installed Annke 8 channel DVR system. After 1 month, I can't see any videos on my computer. What to do to make it work? Your help will be highly appreciated...

    • @Boopolo
      @Boopolo  18 днів тому +1

      You need to plug it into your router, and then set up the network in the DVR settings. There will be local area and wide area.

      @@Boopolo It is not for remote access. It is just connected to my pc. Router is needed for remote access which I don't need at the moment. What I mean is that there are no video showing in my pc even though the camera is on. The only thing I see in the pc is annke for each camera instead of the videos.

      Okay. Plug into your router by RJ45, and plug your computer to your router as well. Then set up local in the settings

    Podría decirme si estos equipos siguen grabando si se va el fluido eléctrico 🤔

      The alarm will go off if it loses power. You should use a UPS if the footage is critical. Thank you for watching

      They have a small battery. Just enough to safely close the hard drive. The newer version has a solid-state drive. I will review it later. Maybe it lasts longer

    I just bought this system and it only comes with 1 power adaptor for the cameras

    • @Boopolo
      @Boopolo  6 місяців тому +2

      I bought it without the cameras, so just one power supply. Normally one power supply is good for up to 8 cameras and the unit together (9 outputs).

    • @TheOctane24
      @TheOctane24 6 місяців тому +2

      it came with 1 power adapter with a 4 split connector but doesnt that mean your limited to basically hooking the cameras up in one room?@@Boopolo

    • @Boopolo
      @Boopolo  6 місяців тому +1

      You can buy very long extensions for signal and power. For me, I prefer to use a different power supply near the other end of the house and just run the signal RG6 from DVR to the camera location. A 5A power supply is good enough for many cameras.

    Do not buy Annke products. Not community oriented. Everything is closed and do not share source code for the firmware of their products. What if their cameras has some problems which they would not want to fix? What if their firmware has spying features? Would you wanna their cameras spying on you?
    When I asked a question if they can provide a source for the firmware they just hiding behind trade secrets.
    Thanks for contacting us. This is Echo from ANNKE Technical Support.
    I'm very sorry for the trouble. We are unable to provide you with the source code for the firmware. Because our firmware version source code contains company intellectual property and trade secrets, we are unable to provide it to our customers.
    Please note, however, that we do not recommend upgrade the firmware version if there are no problems with the system during use.

    • @Boopolo
      @Boopolo  3 місяці тому +1

      Source code for firmware or software is almost always a trade secret for good reason, and if it got into the wrong hands would be very dangerous for end users.
