They aren't, actually. Not only is the script completely different, Hindi comes from the ancient Sanskrit language and maybe a couple others. Urdu, on the other hand, is a melting pot of languages, with roots in Arabic, Persian, Turkish and yes, some Sanskrit. It's like saying English isn't a language tbh. Urdu was actually created so that people from different countries could understand each other, it's hardly a dialect of a single language. Also, I do not agree with the nationalism point. One, because Urdu existed long before India separated. Long, _long_ before. Like, centuries before. Secondly, because some places in India still consider Urdu their provincial language and Indian singers and poets study the tongue because it is regarded as the _language of poetry._ Hardly nationalisitc.

yeah, exactly.
this video was so fun to watch.❤
From a purely linguistic standpoint, they’re dialects of same language. They’re only considered separate languages because of nationalism.
@@EnigmaticLucas I stand man soo true

I was seeing this video with my mom by the side. When Katie was mispronouncing words, she was correcting as if she would hear it 😂. Video becomes more hilarious to see when you are multilingual. I wanna see you make a dish with Tamil instructions. I hope you will do it soon. Lots of love XOXO 💜
I can sense she is quite intelligent.
I sense sarcasm lmao

To the people saying that every Indian swarmed to this video cause it has hindi in the title. As someone now living in Germany, I can say that UA-cams algo outside the US kind of sucks so I’m pretty sure it’s cause everyone in India got recommended the video just like everyone in Germany will be recommended a video with the word “German” in its title 😂
😂👍
I need this done in some other language so i could understand how she managed to do this!!
Katie: are you saying oil?
Aniket: Haan (yes)
