One thing to add when manufacturers claim a "+" is to actually have them produce lab reports showing their plates indeed stop X,Y,Z at XXXX velocities. I've noticed some will place obscure ratings on plates like "stops all 223 threats" or "stops 338LM (Huge Backface though)". ..... :|

I wish they would just get on with it and adopt the new NIJ standard of RF 1, 2, 3 etc.
