Especially the feeling of 'wasted most of my day already' and then just want to 'start fresh' in the morning - this always conflicts and messes up my brain so much - sometimes I try to compromise by starting work after dinner at like 11pm and trying to stay awake until 3am, but then falling asleep and getting poor quality sleep that I waste the next day too...; I now try to get things done earlier even the day (even at like 4pm as you said) e.g. by going to my local cafe where I also feel like being judged if I just sit there scrolling on my phone as you said
