  • Installing some JTR Stealth pinion angle shims on the Blazer. I went with the JTR Stealth ones because they are full width and come with the center bolt.

I had a belltec 5/7 drop on a 97 extended cab 4.3 s10 with a bolt in c-notch and nitro drop shocks and loved it! I learned the hard way (because I knew everything back then and didn't read the instructions) found out that the leaf springs had a right and left side and of course had them in wrong and it leaned to the drivers side, after pulling my hair out for a few days I finally decided to read the instructions and felt about as stupid as it gets LOL. I eventually bagged and body dropped it and regretted it afterwards. It was a traditional body drop wich made it uncomfortable to drive. Either way I absolutely love this build, great job 🔥🔥👍👍

Thanks! I'm glad you like it! It's been a fun build and it's not done yet, but I've just had a lot going on lately to do any more to it.

    Man that thing sounds badass.
You outta start posting links in your video description for the parts you used, so that way if someone is doing the same thing they will know where to get the same parts as the videos

Not a bad idea. I'll do my best to start doing that. Thanks for the suggestion!

My drive line is 3 degrees down and my pinion is 6 degrees down after a 3 inch drop. I have 3 degree shims. What I don't understand is, it seems the diff should go up 3 degrees. Which seems the shims should go the other way - fat part in front?

If you lower the vehicle unless there's something wrong the front of the rear axle should always need to go down. the opposite is true for lifts. You could have something special going on, but that is the norm.

Your math works for a coil spring setup. A leaf spring setup requires a "working angle" setup which is completely different. This video is not accurate for setting up leafs. Do research on setting up a working angle for leafs.
