No one else can ever make you happy. I think that’s really what it is at the root of desperation like this that leads to murder. There’s nothing you can do sometimes, and you just have to let people go or be alone if aspects of the relationship are unbearable-like someone cheating on you. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better. Maybe you’ll feel worse for a while, but in the end it will pay off

Don't cheat! Don't cover for a cheater. Call them out publicly, in church, at work or at the gym. If you want to be a narcissistic, serial cheater, there will be harsh consequences for your dopamine/oxytocin addiction.
I don't care what the "cheater" did. He didn't kill anyone. But he did buy two guns and in Texas, that's as easy as buying two gallons of milk. But of course, those guns were just meant for "protection" by "law-abiding citizens."
An old mentor of mine would likely have said, “If those folks had been where they were supposed to be, doing what they were supposed to be doing, they wouldn’t be in this pickle.”
That philosophy wouldn't allow exploration, discovery, spontaneity and life would be boring in general. I'd prefer just "don't lie, respect everybody and think of the consequences of your actions".
Thank you again for an informative summation--and for your spots of humor! Too little of that these days. Thanks to you, often I can forego the news story drama & wait for your summation.
These triangles never end well. When will these men learn not to toy with peoples’ feelings? I could give you a list of these situations, most recently Mark Girardot, whose wife killed his younger woman cheating partner in 2018 & then shot herself. Sherry Rasmussen was killed over a situation like this. Even Jodi Arias snapped because she was being played
The latest is that the passport was legal, but Armstrong's use of it was fraudulent. The passport photo looked much like Kaitlin. And she traveled under the name on the passport, "Christine". It is reasonable to assume that it was her sister's passport, as she lives in the New York area. Also the police say the shell casing marks match Kaitlin's gun. And when she was confronted by law enforcement in Costa Rica she responded when called "Kaitlin".

Jealousy is a strong and complex emotion ("encompasses feelings ranging from suspicion to rage to fear to humiliation"). I had an experience with jealousy many years back and it's hard to convey how overwhelming and powerful and painful it is. It takes over your brain--talk about intrusive thoughts! Also, a person isn't just dishonest to keep both lovers--they may just be afraid to broach the difficult subject with their lover because they know how much it will hurt them. Maybe it is different between men and women. Breaking up with an abusive man is one of the most common contexts in which women are killed. I can see a man wanting to keep both lovers but a woman becoming too emotionally attached with a new person. Being "in love" causes a person to do irrational things just like an addiction to drugs - an evolutionary adaptation to keep a pair together for the time it takes a child to be born and become mobile, about 2-3 years. Of course, this is no excuse for murder, but if Kaitlin had other issues of self-esteem, envy of the other's abilities, trouble controlling emotions, she probably felt insane. I feel sorry for all involved. The boyfriend will forever carry a feeling of guilt that he caused one lover's death and the other to lose her life to imprisonment or worse. This is just a horrible story. In my first months of college, a woman was shot in the cafeteria by a man she had broken up with. He had mental health problems likely stemming from a head injury he had suffered, among other tendencies. He stalked her for some weeks before just walking into the cafeteria one morning, going to her table and shooting her point blank. He then went outside and sat down nearby and gave himself up to arrest. I had just arrived to class and sat down and a friend/classmate sat down and said "I just saw someone get killed in the cafeteria." He was in shock. We advised him to go back in case he might be needed as a witness. Love ("in love") and jealousy are truly like being temporarily insane by way of brain chemistry.
That sounds like a justification for a cheater. That they are dishonest because they don't want to hurt the person they are cheating on. If they cared that much, they wouldn't have been cheating in the first place. Have you ever cheated...had two "lovers"? There's no love for two people here. The boyfriend doesn't love the woman he was cheating on. He didn't care about her anguish.
When there are red flags in a relationship run for the exit, is kind of like being in a burning room and seeing an exit sign and ignoring it, you will get burned, killing the other person in the room is not the way to put out the fire.
Why is the person who actually broke their trust not ”other” woman or man the target of the rage? I know there are a plethora of reasons, but it’s just so illogical. 🤷🏻♀️
Sometimes they are the target. They are usually the target when the relationship is over and there is no hope of a reconciliation. Dorothy Stratton is an example of that. In this case, both parties wanted to maintain the relationship and I suspect she thought if she killed her rival there would be no threat to the relationship anymore. Killing him would bring an end to the relationship and she didn’t want to lose him, but she wanted the threat gone. She was too irrational to think through the fact that she would get caught which will ultimately end the relationship anyway.
A cautionary tale. Just dump the cheater. It’s much easier.
More like Do Not murder innocent people.

I think my favorite part of your videos is not the analysis so much, but more about your well thought out words, insights, and logic. We as a society could certainly use more of all 3. Thank you for putting out helpful, positive, and productive content!
Dr grande I always appreciate your analysis and your total presentation. This was sad because these two women had everything going for them and both were deceived by a player!
Maybe you’ll feel worse for a while, but in the end it will pay off
He's the blame
"Don't ride with me as you hold me back"
That's a very common thing in the cycling world.
Your one-liner closing statements are gems, Dr. Grande!
She threw her life away over a man what a shame.
Threw her life away and took someone else’s.
She threw her life away and took the life of another woman over a man that will move on to other women while she most likely spends decades and possibly the rest of her life in jail.
Yeah... yucky men! 😂
Yes over a man who cheated on her and on every woman he’d been with.
@@mildredpierce4506 yep. Women would rather share a super stud than have a faithful average man. Enjoy!
That's a load of jealousy and possessiveness. Murder solves no problems though. No man is worth killing for. IMO
She (the killer) really should have just packed her bags and looked for better. “Don’t want nobody that don’t want me.” As the song goes. Many worse things than being single, including the women’s penitentiary.

Lightening speed with the analysis as usual Sir-hats off to you👍
Yes. HONESTY is very important, especially in romantic relationships. Very good advice at the end.
Ladies or people... stay away from men like this. If a partner lies to you and is not faithful, just leave. Do not ruin your own life because of your terrible partner's actions
so why didnt she kill him then? she kiilled an innocent girl.
You girls never stay away from men like this, even when you suspect the dude you stay, what the hell are you talking about. I lived in Austin for 10 years, these dudes that play the field universally get the most play, and the girls all remain blissfully ignorant.
It’s actually insane how many people are trying to make her the victim & him the perpetrator. Men cheat, women cheat….it is what it is. It’s not a green light for murder! You just made a massive assumption about “negging” in order to push this absurd narrative that he’s a monster, & what she did is somehow appropriate. Anger & jealousy are emotions we all have to deal with….Kaitlin is a grown adult, who decided to kill a woman, bc she was cheated on. The only monster here is her.
@@jimskeuh The "innocent girl" willingly participated in this relationship with someone she knew was in a relationship. Not that that means she deserved to be killed, but let's not pretend she was any less to blame than the boyfriend.

Super sad for this ladies. Sad for their families. I hope this man learns from this experience and would not hurts (causes pain to) other young women in the future. Both of these ladies have so much to live for.
Great analysis and really appreciate the dating advice at the end. So many tragedies could be avoided if people walked away from dishonest partners.
Thank you for your really cool videos. I love your dry humour and calm voice. I never miss a video and I follow you on Patreon 🌵❤️
A sad loss of a Bright light. Prayers for all who knew Mo and her family. Colin is messy and Armstrong is really crazy and dangerous. It played out like a lifetime movie. Shock and sadness for mo gone too soon.
I hope she gets life without parole. So pathetic to kill someone because he wants to be with someone else. Emotions are a dangerous thing to play with you never know how far someone will go .
"bright light"?, meh, more like she was a pro at....wait for it........riding bicycles-get it-riding bicycles/riding boners, you broads act like he committed adultery, if that's the case ol' (dead)Mo aint nothing but a homewrecker spreading her legs NOT in "bright lights" but dark seedy bedrooms behind the backs of innocent women

It would be interesting to hear you offer analyses on R. Kelly and/or Ghislaine Maxwell. Thanks for these videos Doc! Your deadpan humor is an added bonus!
@@islandlife756 Thanks, found it!
I think it would be interesting to compare the sentences of these two individuals and what variables might have impacted the significant differences.
I like the way you present everything-no stupid drama music or dramatic speculation- just the facts
Sad story, but the dr has impeccable humor as usual. Even tho I know he can be funny at odd times, I’m still taken aback every time
It's somewhat ironic, that although homeboy's lying/cheating caused all of this, he will never do a day in jail.
I’m pretty sure he’s doing jail time in his mind.
He may or may not be guilty of cheating. He did not have anything to do with the murder. Katelyn is 100% responsible for her own actions.
Sometimes I wonder if there’s ever been someone who was subscribed to Dr. Grande but ended up being the future subject of a video
The way he is making a video a day, not checking all available details on a subject anymore, this may well just happen!!
I look forward every day to your videos . Great work 😊👋🏻
Yea! Wa awaiting on Dr. Grande take on this. This was 30 mins from us. So it hits home
So tragic. One young woman is dead and another will likely spend decades in prison (where I’m sure that Colin will not visit her). Great analysis as usual. These videos are not only entertaining, they are PSAs. Don’t partake in love triangles people. Don’t start them and walk away if your partner does
Another hint: Stay away from guns!

Happy holidays Dr G! Enjoy the long weekend....thanks for the awesome content!
Another great analysis. I think you're spot on, too. Love triangle murders are so awful, they destroy so many lives. You'd think people could develop some insight into these things from learning from others' mistakes, but so often they just don't.
Dr. Grande’s final thoughts posit high utility towards many individuals who feel that their world would come to an end when their relationships fail- something to reflect upon… Amazing closing remarks from Dr. G 👏🏻
Morbid jealousy is a CANCER. 😈 It destroys the jealous person and all too often, destroys the lives of innocent victims too. Both figuratively and sometimes literally. As in this case. 😤💔
the others were not free of sin either....
I must admit I enjoy your sarcasm. Interesting narrative.
He sure did try to back pedal-it is fairly obvious that Colin acted in ways to cause Kaitlin to feel humiliated and scorned. Colin was not honest with Kaitlin about his feelings for Moriah and contributed to this tragic ending. However, Kaitlin did commit murder. If she had just ended her relationship with Colin, all of this could have been avoided. Now Colin unfortunately goes free, Moriah is dead, and Kaitlin will spend her days in prison.
@@enjoyslearningandtravel7957 exactly. Colin wouldn't be free if she hadn't fixed the problem. It's so unfortunate to see a Wyman do all the work, just for a cheater to enjoy it. I hate when that happens. 😒
That title is worth the price of admission alone!
I just saw this in the news yesterday. Can’t wait to watch your video on it!
Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend.
Thanks Doc!
Unfortunately from Mariah, she chose to stay in an on again off again relationship with someone who really didn’t care about her. Colin was just a man who didn’t care about who he hurt as long as he got what he wanted.
Except he did care about her did you not listen to the story?
LOL at the idea of having a *romantic* relationship in a one- or two-week window. I'm guessing that their 'romance' was relatively horozontal.
Have a great weekend Dr. Grande 💚
Crime of passion. Sad. Colin''s lies lead one to deadly action. He will have to live with how his selfish, deceptive lies and the affects it had on others. Prayers for all 3 families.

Second great thing to happen today! First was being off for the first of FIVE days after months with no off days...THEN, an early Dr Grande posting! What a great day!!
ETA Dr Grande, I hope you're a girl-dad. That last bit about women (or men I guess) in this position and all of the REAL options they have rather than chasing someone who doesn't want them...this should be taught to all children.
Hello Dr. Grande, I think that you are very precise in your thoughts about this case. It is always sad to see love affairs, nearly all turn out with a crime of some sort. You are so good at explaining the cases you bring to us. thank you for your hard work. Best Regards. ❤👍
I have found myself watching Dr. Grande every single day, if just to catch that dry humor.
I like it👍
Thank you again for an informative summation--and for your spots of humor! Too little of that these days. Thanks to you, often I can forego the news story drama & wait for your summation.
This is SO RECENT your upload is almost a newscast;)
These triangles never end well. When will these men learn not to toy with peoples’ feelings? I could give you a list of these situations, most recently Mark Girardot, whose wife killed his younger woman cheating partner in 2018 & then shot herself. Sherry Rasmussen was killed over a situation like this. Even Jodi Arias snapped because she was being played
I love how Dr. Grande weaves his analysis into a neat little package and ties it up nicely with his professional opinion.
Ah Yes, another tragic case of what Dr Grande has called the deadly combination of romance and geometry. The love triangle.
Your dry humor warms my bones
Hmm. Dunno. I've always found it easier to ride a bicycle than to find a relationship. 🤔

Good Day, Dr. Grande. Sure have missed you. Excited to jump right in. 👌
Bingo..."It is a dangerous game"! I hope people learn from other's dishonesty too.
Shades of the arrest scene in the Great Escape: "Good Luck" (Gestapo).......oH, Thank You....OOPS.
Love that - "After all, finding a new relationship is just like riding a bike"
Well it is for some people but I get what you're saying.
Dear Dr G. A superb analysis and finding a new relationship is like riding a bike, depending on how many major bones have been smashed and if real recovery is ever likely from either. Kind regards Marlin.
What a waste of life and talent. I'm so pleased they got the person who did this. Such a sad love triangle. Thank you Dr Grande. Brilliant analysis and sad outcome.
Thank you for posting this. I appreciate your frankness. I find it heartbreaking that situations like this occur too frequently when people become obsessed with their partner.

Wow, So she could obtain a fake passport, but with the relationship and familiarity of younger people with technology; you'd think she would know that she could Not get away with a cold blooded murder. ie: cameras, tracker watches, etc. I'm also Surprised that the Police could not coerce a confession from her if they had tried. Well finding a new relationship is not really as easy as riding a bike, but definitely a lot less hazardous ⚠️ than remaining in a toxic relationship…
“…but he sure knows how to backpedal” LOL *LIKE BUTTON PRESSED* 🚲
I get so excited when a video has just been posted when I open UA-cam

Also, be sure to lock your doors…
When there are red flags in a relationship run for the exit, is kind of like being in a burning room and seeing an exit sign and ignoring it, you will get burned, killing the other person in the room is not the way to put out the fire.
As a Brit, I am so thankful to live in a gun free society.
You are lucky
you'll want that gun when your man cheats
Like riding a bike!!! I was waiting for one of your zingers and you didn't disappoint.
Why is the person who actually broke their trust not ”other” woman or man the target of the rage? I know there are a plethora of reasons, but it’s just so illogical. 🤷🏻♀️
You’re right. Go after the one who promised to be faithful.
She was too irrational to think through the fact that she would get caught which will ultimately end the relationship anyway.
because she obviously still wants him
Once again m’friend, you've created an awesome video. Thx and much love❤️☀️.
She should have just dumped the user and moved on with her life.
