Honestly, aside from the balancing being slightly off and the guitar a tad bit noisy, this sounds pretty damn good. You avoided the "new" sound all metal has with the same dull drum samples mixed too dry, and overly cleaned up guitar. The riffs are good and everything sounds like it could've been an old metal track from like 2002.

i can see the appeal, fat chunky tone and big riffs. i have no clue what people are talking about when they say it has better tone than other songs. if you like it, that’s fine, but it is definitely not well mixed traditionally at least.
As someone who makes music this is pretty easily fixable. Turn the guitar gain down, and volume, and use an eq to get the low end out of the way from the kick drums. And this would sound so much better

sounds like "metal" soundtracks in budget video games, where the composer did it just because the game design asked for it
"you guys have made metal tracks before right?"
"yeah totally of course"
it's either 2000s alt rock or something like this everytime an indie/flash(rip) game has a "metal" soundtrack
