And at one point, about halfway through the mile home, I am truly alone, with nothing but the noise in my head. I am nothing, I am everything. I am the glittering pavement, the little clouds of fog every time I exhale, I am the occasional roar of a car passing by. I start to run downhill, the cold stiffening my face like rigor mortis, like a death mask, into the first in an eternity kind of uncontrollable grin, the first since the depression came back, I am laughing to an audience of asphalt and trees. I always thought it was the other way around and when I listened to a cool cassette tape overwriting from someone else I could only wonder what the artwork might be like
I was expecting to hear some type of boom bap rap song and was ready to click off, but this hit me on an insanely deep level. 80's esque music has always been close to me and this just feels like that one song titled "most mysterious song on the internet" - an undiscovered, untouched, perfect example of good music/rock. This is something that musicians today can only dream of composing. It almost reminds me of when you just play a super low bass note on a synth and then just do improv on the higher octaves - used to do that as a kid. Seriously, whoever uploaded this, thank you for sharing with the world. I literally can't explain how much better this is than mainstream music. Holy shit man
Really difficult day for me. I spent 20 minutes crying in front of a mirror. And not knowing why, or who I really am. And being really tired of it all. A song that captures that pain for me is On Fye by the Simps. Interestingly, this popped up for me. I am grateful for it today. It carries me along. Two thoughts come to mind: Through these moments there’s a thought that is running that is ashamed to feel. Ashamed might not be quite right - but that I musnt be caught feeling this deeply. Or that I must hide it away. This makes me sob uncontrollably. I am so deeply sad that I have learned to hide away, even from myself. I don’t want that pain anymore. Grieving comes to mind. But I don’t know what I am grieving. Maybe I am grieving for myself. There’s an upside to this. It’s as though I could feel a tsunami hit me inside and shake something loose. It’s a desire to actualize into something that resembles me. To feel more. To not hide away. To not really give a fuck about the rest of it. The rest of it is what I was always told to worry about. I can be whatever it is that I want to be. I won’t be ashamed of that anymore. And I don’t need to numb myself into oblivion trying to bury myself and who I am out of fear that who I am is incompatible with a life well lived. Anyways, not sure why I am typing this on a random youtube comment thread. But I am glad I found this song and I hope if you are out there and are hurting that you can find some peace.
ashamed of what? dude maybe you need therapy. Most people don't repress stuff that heavily. I mean, I have stuff like this and I think I know maybe what it is but I panic over it so much I just make it go away for a bit, but if you had someone you could confide in (like a therapist) to unpack it, maybe you could at least find out maybe what is causing you to depersonalise. "what is actually you" really is just whatever you are now and people don't tend to change much. I mean maybe it is a feeling of a loss of something you thought you could be - but most people accept that and move on with whatever life they have, usually finding a hobby. At least you are going through some sort of grief but usually I'm stuck on depression and acceptance is only really temporary solace. Or maybe you're just going through a quarter life crisis or something. Anyways it seems you='ve got it figured enough to type it out so that's something I guess...
Something i mistook allot in my life is if you want peace, prepare for war. To achieve real peace is to steel yourself as bruce lee said '"you put water into a cup it becomes the cup ,water can crash but it can also flow , be like water my friend."
3 weeks no weed today after smoking everyday for years. On a peaceful night walk. This hits different. Not saying weed is bad, but it sure seemed to dim out my soul, and I feel like it grows stronger every day being able to handle life’s problems without being medicated. Family is always there, but weed is no longer. Proud of myself. EDIT: thanks for all the love and kindness and support. Wild gettin it from total strangers! Y’all have a great life! 💯🤙

Most of these underground experimental producers were not really popular and sadly stopped making music after few albums (Deaf Lions, etc...). Albums were mostly on cassette tapes, that explains the low quality sound.

How did we get here
Saharan guitar is the best!
Woah I got here from the Saharan desert blues as well 😮
All the comments are equally lost, curious, satisfied, and confident that we are where we are supposed to be.
I love every single one of you. Discovered this randomly. Just like many of you who on this neverending quest to enhance the soul.
God bless you sir
Der Song ist einfach Liebe man..
- und wieder bringt der Algorithmus mich heim.
A song that just finds people, drawing them in with a striking cover and revealing a hidden 80's banger. Sounds like an urban legend.
As someone said in the comments you dont find this it finds you.. 💯% true! I was 14 days on rehab now allmost month clean. These last two days has been most hardest and i dont even know why. Much strength to anyone who sees this comment no matter the situation is. Greetings and love from perkele land🇫🇮
Keep going brother!!!!! You got this!!
Stay strong neighbor 🇸🇪🇫🇮
keep up!
🤘
Keep the chin up brother 🙏
Imagine being so cultured and based that even algorithm doesn’t throw you brain-rot stuff but this peak gem
First I was listening to “No self Control” by PG (aka Peter Gabriel) and then I saw this cool cover and thought, “Hey what if I gave this video a try?”, and I am so happy I did! 😁
Thanks I know
It didn't disappoint
Honestly thoooo
we have the same pfp wtf
I'm from morocco but his music reunited me with the highest souls ❤️❤️❤️ we're the universe brothers
Whoever made this was decades ahead of their time
and what do you think is/was "their time"?
@@arnoldme3120 1986, it literally says in the description lmao
It's quite ironic, considering that most of their other works is just weird experimental stuff, sometimes close to raw punk.
Sounds pretty 1980s to me. Fuck pink Floyd was making music just like this in the 70s..
Ever listen to the whole Wish you was here album?
well fellas, we won the jackpot, we are the lucky few so lets celebrate
Blessed by The Algorithm today. Greetings to all who've come before and all those who'll come after.
I was chosen by this… this miracle of a song
We're all gonna make it bros
💯💯💯

What did I do to deserve this recommendation? That is just amazing.
good set of ears
@@sekta666 ty you too
I knew i should have trusted a 6 am algorithm suggestion. I have made it among you guys. What a masterpiece…
This is like one of those dramatic Miami vice songs I make up in my ADHD head.
this is soooo damn smooth and emotionally charged. Brothers and sisters alike, we have been united with similar tastes
Im constantly ripping music like this in my head too bro
Man if this was properly recorded it'd be something outta this world. I can see a whole movie in my head while listening to this.
I think this lo fi makes it even better.
@@adrobestia262 its already properly recorded
Over polished is too trendy. Just leave things be as you found them.
Ay mang I just work here
Holy shit, I need more recommendations like this one.
You might like Ash Ra Tempel especially their first two albums
Back in the day you had to walk into a record store looking for for a cool album cover, buy it and hope you like most of it.
Now UA-cam does all the hard work and it’s free.
UA-cam isn’t a perfect company by any means long shot but damn these moments are special
I always thought it was the other way around and when I listened to a cool cassette tape overwriting from someone else I could only wonder what the artwork might be like
The hard work is what gave it meaning
When a record costs multiple hours of my life by pay, I’m not about to buy a record.
You must have lived under a rock during MTVs golden years
@@joshuakruebbe3762Thanks for adding literally nothing to the conversation.
Albums like this are why I randomly wander youtube late through the night
I had to click on this as soon as I saw the thumbnail. 1000000x better than anything I could have imagined
Я с тобой ❤
@@dp178km It is great stuff for sure. I love that the internet allows us all to connect and listen to it. ❤
Dude same!!
We made it boys, UA-cam brought us all here for a reason
wooot wooot!
Especially today 👌
Here we are

Holy shit man
pvz pfp based
oh how i’d love to learn the guitar just to play this masterpiece… i’ve never heard a thing like it… very very amazing
Really difficult day for me. I spent 20 minutes crying in front of a mirror. And not knowing why, or who I really am. And being really tired of it all. A song that captures that pain for me is On Fye by the Simps. Interestingly, this popped up for me. I am grateful for it today. It carries me along.
Two thoughts come to mind:
Through these moments there’s a thought that is running that is ashamed to feel.
But I am glad I found this song and I hope if you are out there and are hurting that you can find some peace.
whats up man if u need to talk lmk brother
Hope you're doing well
ashamed of what? dude maybe you need therapy. Anyways it seems you='ve got it figured enough to type it out so that's something I guess...
this is so well worded man. How are you doing now?
Proud of you too, stay good
Stay strong. I was thinking about getting high tonight but instead I'm here, listening to this gem completely sober.
Proud of you man. Live a good life.
Well done ! That’s amazing. I’ll be 2 years December 1st. Clean n sober. We got this !! X ❤
I prefer weed and dogs over family and people. And nature. Exercise. A healthy diet. “Reality is for people who can’t handle drugs.” -Tom Waits.
Man this gives off some psychedelic desert/space space rock vibes with that 80s electronic vibe and i love it.
Edit: because i now cant unhear this either, kinda also reminds me of Eddie Hazel making that guitar absolutely weep in Maggot Brain. Just that big open sound cutting through the pain like ripples in the ponds of spacetime.
This song is honestly great all around, kinda feels like a different journey every time.
Ok it actually reminded me of one part from La villa strangiato, the quiet solo midway through the song
@@Hevvvyyy ooh the Primus song? Or was that one of claypools side projects?
Im at least familiar with that version but dont know if its the original or a cover. Gotta go give it a listen now.
@@100GTAGUY It's a cover of a Rush track. I'm actually not familiar with the Primus version myself
@@Oatcheese ironically im not a super huge Rush fan, but it does seem Primus has covered/tributed a fair handful of their discography.
I know they def did YYZ, wasnt aware they did La Villa Strangiato originally however. Heard that from primus first, but now ill have to go check out the original.
Guess im kinda inverse to you and vice versa lol
Man you nailed it, it really is something special.
Destiny united me with this masterpiece
We are not here by accident. We are the chosen legion.
I've wandered many plains of both Time and Space to get here... never knowing my destination was with destiny.
....Fate brought me here....
..Hello my newfound brothers...
hello.
Seeing this appear randomly to people - 3 years after it was uploaded none the less - makes the music feel extra enigmatic. I'm one of them and i can't help but feel like this music gives the vibe of a confrontation of an uncertain variety. You don't know what everyone else here is in relation to you, but you know for sure the universe has put you all in the same place for a reason.
We’re not in the same place, this isn’t the real world. Touch grass, please.
@@Gen7486jesus christ touch a book over third grade reading level if you can't understand that they meant 'in the same place' metaphorically you fucking loon
To be considered by the algorithm for this gem is honourable, thank you
Reminds me of being a kid in the back of my dad’s Honda listening to old Rush tapes. We were untouchable. Those were the golden days. Blessed to still remember them.
Clicked on it because it had a random, funny name. Now I am going to be up all night trying to find more music like this that I can relax to.
Please share any if you do find them
i never heard of Mcbaise until last month and i can't stop the late night head phone sessions
Late reply, but Dirty Beaches has a similar gritty, chill, melancholy vibe to a lot of his music. Check out Casino Lisboa for an example track. Major 2 AM smoke break in an alley outside of a seedy dive bar with a jazz rock group performing inside energy.
Laid on the couch and blasted this last night. Perfect couch tunes.
Back in 1988 I got fired from my job. Now, it’s 2024. Time flies. Apple pie
So close to the 1M views, hope somehow the band members realize that oneeof their works has come to be appreciated in this sort of way.
"You'll come for the cover art, but you'll stay for the music"
I clicked randomly on this video , and now i have no regrets for what i did
It was about 4:55 am (5 minutes ago as of current), when I was recommended this song. I am so glad that I am part of the chosen few who was able to discover this hidden gem. To the fellow lucky few who discovered this gem, let's make sure to share this with others, help get this the appreciation it truly deserves! Hope you're all doing good.
This sobered me up.
Feel like I'm 15 again, awesome ambience, really takes you on a journey..
I feel like I have stumbled upon this at the perfect time. That background bass with these riffs are something truly magical. Where are these people today? Why was their talent overlooked? This is a masterpiece
Most of these underground experimental producers were not really popular and sadly stopped making music after few albums (Deaf Lions, etc...). Albums were mostly on cassette tapes, that explains the low quality sound.
I’ve listen to this 26 times since I’ve discovered it, nothing but good vibes
Before i clicked, i told my homie I think iv found a gem again
Saw the odd thumbnail, came in, stayed for the "Wandering through time and space" song.
I accidentally click this. While walking home from a night shift work.. i feel like im the main character now..
Keep that head on swivel 🤙
isn't it wondrous that we're all able to share this piece of music, wherever we are, age, time, country, religion, all gone, we can just enjoy this

Literally a star falling from the sky and landing on my head
I thought this was gonna be some old hardcore punk for the 80s and it turned out to be this masterpiece
Not exactly sure what I've listened to or watched to be here, but I'm grateful that I did!

One of the best parts of UA-cam
So we all just got called into it huh
Yes … Yes we did

We the chosen few
3:44 in the morning. Drunk. With the heart broken. This was the right video to find. Hope you pals are doing allright
