Being a wrestling fan who grew up in the 90s means that mentally I cannot hear the word degeneration without thinking X, and frankly, the world needs a game where HHH and Shawn Michaels wrestle zombies for inexplicable reasons.
Double Dragon-style arcade game where Chyna has been kidnapped by an evil Vince McMahon and his army of zombified wrestlers. Shawn and Triple H have to grapple, kick, and sledgehammer their way through a WWE arena, culminating in a ring match between the two and Vince, before the duo are forced to face each other in the squared circle in one last pinfall to end it all.

However, I'm absolutely in love with these types of devices, because they're the proof of the incredible diversity in the gaming industry. What I loved the most as a kid was exploring the internet and finding new, weird little games. That's how I got into retro gaming and indie gaming in the first place. Gaming is so colorful, so diverse, with millions of different experiences hiding in plain sight for you to find. I know I haven't been able to convey my excitement for the gaming scene all that well as my english is kinda rusty, but I hope I was able to share at least some of the delight and sense of wonder I've experienced with you, all because of various games I've had the chance of experiencing over the years.

I'd love to see a video on Nintendo's "Art Style" series. A ton of them aren't available anymore, including my favorite, Cubello. They're great little games exploring interesting gameplay concepts, and while they wouldn't make a good video if handled separately, if you made a video covering a bunch of them out would be great.
My sister had a phone with this game on it, I can remember playing it when I was a little kid. I never remembered what it was really called but could just vaguely remember the airport setting and Leon. Thank you for helping me remember this gem of a forgotten memory!
I actually have a very fond memory of this game. I got my first iPhone and was obsessed with getting console games on it instead of mobile games such as Bioshock, Devil May Cry, GTA, and COD Zombies. I played this entire game on a trip across the country to visit family. It was a very short game but I remember it being really exciting and fun.
This is a great review and run down to the Degeneration port. Absolutely a lost gem. Nice to see RE Confidential Report as well, our host is a big fan of it's 4 part storyline!
I remember looking at UA-cam videos for this game when it first came out and being blown away. I had never seen a truly 3D game on a portable console before!
I had the Java version, it was right around the time I got into the Resident Evil franchise and I wanted everything Resident Evil after being obsessed over Resi 4. I'll be honest ... it looks terrible now but I loved it when I was a kid.

Wow, I remember playing a demo of this on my old Ipod 2nd gen, way back. This brought back memories I forgot I had. At the time, I had a PSP, and those early IOS games didn't impress me as much as any game on IOS, with one exception, Call of Duty Zombies (the version based off of WAW) was fantastic, and nowadays I'm super impressed with how well it translated to mobile, they even left the easter egg songs in. This was before the plague of microtransactions, and this felt like a complete game, on your phone. I recommend checking it out, even if the graphics look pretty bad nowadays lol
The true magic of RE Degeneration is its utterly hilarious bloopers/outtakes, the editors and VAs had an absolute field day. Please look it up here on UA-cam.

I remember playing this as a kid! My dad had it on his phone, some old model LG. It scared me so much as I was somewhere between 7-9 years old. It only had 5 or 10 plays you could use on the free trial before paying for it. I’d play it up until encountering the first zombie, get scared, and turn it off. This video was such a nice piece of nostalgia.
Man, so cool you're looking at delisted mobile games. I played a lot of games on my iPod Touch back in the day and it's a shame they no longer exist. Not just Degeneration and RE4, iOS also had an exclusive RE5 Mercenaries style game called Mercenaries Vs which was multiplayer focused but could be played with bots featuring 2 maps and 3 characters (with more promised but never added). I kept that one installed all the way up to my iPhone 6s on 9.1 so I could play as Wesker and cobra strike enemies on the go. Also a version of Mercenaries published by Gree which was a f2p online game that didn't even last a year. A shame, that one had Hunk.

That’s actually super clever to swap out pre-rendered backgrounds to facilitate a new game. Reminds me of Ninja Breadman, but more charming for some reason.
This kind of reminds me of the movie adaptation games of the NES and SNES eras, where they would find one element of the movie that maybe appears in one scene and gamify it. On that ground, I have to appreciate it at least a little.

The game was on more platforms than just iOS and N-Gage! I remember my sister having an LG Versa, and at boring events, she would let me play the free trials she had downloaded, they were Need for Speed Undercover, Tetris, and Resident Evil: Degeneration, I remember the demo ended either before or shortly after you get the first gun!
I will admit that when I was in middle school to high school and was still using one of those basic phones, onetime I downloaded the Java version of RE: Degeneration and the game was kind of short and easy. But was still interesting, but I've was suck with basic/gimmick phones until 2015 when I finally joined smartphone craze. Video did bring back old memories.

Rock band blitz would be a great game for this series. It was a digital only rock band spin-off that only used the controller and was very similar to harmonix’s pre guitar hero/rock band games like amplitude. It was delisted a couple years back and is one of the most underrated games of the ps3/360 generation.

It was a digital only rock band spin-off that only used the controller and was very similar to harmonix’s pre guitar hero/rock band games like amplitude. It was delisted a couple years back and is one of the most underrated games of the ps3/360 generation.

I played this in high-school but it was VERY forgettable but cool how you could play it on a mobile device.

Oh man, I do remember this game. I didn't play it on N-Gage but I did play the version that was on there. Also the mobile RE4 port.
