Hi Notorious, I'm Shouting out big thank you... for all your advise videos ...I have 70 fig plants successfully growing here in my yard all are a around foot tall, 4 of those are slow growing, remembering this was my first time at rooting fig cutting and with your method and advise I am over the moon with the results I am very happy with my first attempt.. Its coming on spring here in Queensland Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺 in couple weeks and these fig are out side and are starting to grow progressively fast so happy with the results and I will be following applying your stem one node training method in one of your other videos for a strong trunk and scaffold 😊👍👍👍👍
Im at that state on a lot of my figs but on year 1. And 40+ fig son them. Some formed late so they need to go in the grow tent soon. Trunk aint as thick. But i accomplished my goal
Awesome!! All mine are single leader this season super tall an thick grown how you recommended. I'm really happy with them. Definitely the way to go for growing in pots. Thank you!!
@OgnjenMali ....he posted a video of him making one a I made one. I was hooked. Gardening with Leon is the person that he followed and I checked him out also and my Gardening has stepped up extremely well. Good luck and if you need any help feel free to reach out
Great information as always my brother. Got 3 of the same pots ready for next season. I’m up potting my I-258, my ccd Rimada and ccd Gegantina, so far lol. Too bad I don’t have people sending me free cuttings 😉
Have enjoyed watching your videos. I’m in Florida and I’m just looking to do maybe 6 to 10 varieties of figs. I already have the sip system in place based off of your design. The only question I have is are you also watering the soil or is the tree relying solely on the sip system? I’m just worried that the roots won’t reach the water when they’re really young.
I've put in 4x9 treepots in these SIPs & what I do is water gently on the surface until I think the tree is mature enough to have roots reaching the water in the reservoir. A normal tree will empty the reservoir in about a week. You lift or tip it gently to test the weight.
Another great video. I’m grateful for all of your work. I have a question about the trunk of the cdd r that is in the 5 gallon pot. Will the trunk catch up to the one in the 20 gallons pot if you up pot to 20 gallon pot or will it always be smaller? I ask this question because I didn’t follow you and I have trees in small pots and they didn’t grow much. Would it be better if I started new cuttings and put them in the bigger pots? I don’t mind messing up,as long as I learn from my mistakes. You are definitely a mentor to many of us and I thank you.❤
I appreciate each of your pruning videos. You're about the only one on YT that takes us step by step through the process and why. Thanks!
Thank you!
I Have watched a lot of fig videos…but yours are outstanding….thanks
Thank you very much!
Nice to see the progression from step 1 to step 2, thank you. Hopefully you can show us how to prune it in dormancy.
Will do

Great to hear!
Nice looking tree!
The sips have proven out on our fig farm to become much larger than other trees in smaller pot sizes.
@@OgnjenMali...self irrigating pots. They are absolutely amazing

Glad you asked. It is a Self Irrigating pot. Lots of videos on youtube. But look through Notorious figs vids. He has a good one on SIPS. @@OgnjenMali

Did you cut at 30 inches expecting some die back by spring time when you cut to 24"?
That’s the idea. Although I didn’t have any.
Notorious Fig? Do you think it’s imperative to wait until after dormancy to give a prune?
Or can someone prune in October?
Only prune now if you have to. Dormancy up to before they wake up.
@@thenotoriousfig thank you …

I think they catch up from what others have said. But maybe year 4-5.
