I know this is 2 years later but your videos really have helped inspire me. I get so used to seeing others stuff THOUSANDS a week and I think to myself “why bother?”. I mean seriously why bother putting $50 away when I can just spend it. It doesn’t feel like I’m doing anything, but watching you save little by little has encouraged me to start saving again. We low incomers need to stick together! ❤
I am a low income budgeter as well! Always glad to see someone else showing that sticking to a cash budget is possible with a low income. Some week I make $300 and some weeks I make $100. It really varies. But that doesn't stop me from setting financial goals and working towards them! Can't wait to follow your journey.

I started the journey of low income budgeting! And so far I’m loving it. I don’t bring home much money. I love how realistic this and you take the smallest amount of money and stuff it because I’ve been watching other channels and they stuff more than one hundred dollars in there book lol. I usually have 100$ that i can stuff into my binder ❤

Hi, Dee! I no longer use those wallet envelopes because I don’t carry cash, but I made those myself with regular printer paper. Folded them in half and laminated them. I did have some previously from MonetsMoney on Etsy. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like she’s selling them anymore, but there are loads of other sellers on Etsy that sell cash envelopes. Question: do you got to the ATM every week or get paid in cash? Do you do your stuffing biweekly or monthly?
Good questions! I've made some changes since this video. I used to do them monthly, but I now do them weekly. I use a lot of prop money now to represent the real money that stays in my bank account, but I go to the ATM for the few envelopes that I still have cash in. Hey, Niola! 💜 Good question! No, I have more than that left over after paying bills. I budget a certain amount that I want to save for the entire month. Then, I divide that by 4 weeks, and stuff that on camera.

Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting! 💜 Yes, most of the money is prop money for demonstration purposes. Some people use real money, but I keep my money in my high-yield savings account so that it can gain interest and so that no one can steal it. It’s also a visual representation that helps me know exactly how much money I have allocated for each category. Some of my envelopes do have real cash, though, like Christmas and gifts, but they have small amounts of money in them.

cash stuffers on UA-cam use real money, but I use prop money for video purposes. I keep all my money in the bank for safety reasons and so that I can collect interest (I get about $40/mo. now in interest from Ally Bank). Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching! 💜
