Just finding your videos but you have the most realistic and common sense budget and way of explaining this system. Big hugs and i really hope you make more of these videos.
I'd also love to see you add an investments envelope to your long tem one. You can put into an IRA or other type investment which will greatly assist retiring early or retiring more comfortably.
I absolutely love your wallets and how you break it down. I am retired so I am on a fixed income, but I have always had a savings account every since I started working. There are some family members that need to be doing this young and older.
How do you save for car and home/renters insurance? I didn’t hear you mention that. These videos really are eye opening for me. I really need to keep track of my spending.
I don't stuff my paycheck from my full time job so those types of bills come out of that money. Because of this I don't stuff for them. For me I have an issue with overspending in the categories I have in my binders. Because of that I only focus on these categories to keep on track. Hope that makes sense!
I’m not a huge online shopper and also no longer use credit cards. But when I do buy something online I take the money out and deposit it into the bank.
That’s how I do it. I have a completely separate banking account for credit card payments. the way I think of it is, having multiple bank accounts is like a digital cash envelope system. Once I deposit the money into that credit card payment account I forget it, I never withdraw money from that account. If there isn’t cash in a certain category envelope at home I won’t use my credit card for a purchase until I know it can be paid in full at the end of the billing cycle. Pull the cash from the envelope at home and place it into a cash envelope named “bank” that you keep in your wallet and then make the deposit anytime before the payment is due that way you don’t accidentally leave the cash in the envelope leading you to believe you still have that money and it hasn’t already been spent online.
I actually use my ring light to hold my phone. It’s a floor stand so that’s why it stays pretty still. But I do not recommend using it because the phone holder doesn’t reach very far. Hoping to change it up to something better
Omg I feel your pain. Even after making this video and learning from my mistakes I made some for a friend of mine last night and punched them all wrong 😭 ugh!!!
You’re the first person I’ve seen to break it down like this. I love how you organize your envelopes based on your spending habits
So happy to hear that! thanks so much for watching🤗

Hello Desire can you share what company you used to get your binders?
I sourced them from Alibaba!
@@Happy2planwithDesiree how do you like your new binders, like the quality? Can you do a review on what you ordered?
