Would love to see a Fanola review, it is SUPER purple big time. I can't use both purple shampoo and conditioner on my blonde or else it comes out grayish. Usually I will do a purple shampoo so that if it's slightly drying, I can then go in with a nice rich regular conditioner. Whatever you're doing works for you as your hair is a gorgeous color.
I’ve been using the regular Strength Cure but will need to get this too when needed on my highlights. I buy most of my skincare and hair care from Lovely Skin. Frequent sales!

I am very prone to brassiness, and once when my hair was really bad I left purple shampoo on my hair for... maybe almost 10 minutes while I shaved and exfoliated my legs. When I got out of the shower, I looked in the mirror and scared myself. The purple shampoo had dripped down my face a bit, and it stained some dry skin patches I had on my face to be a purple/grey color! I got it off with some exfoliation, but it was the craziest thing. Now I definitely try to regularly use my purple shampoo, and if I need more toning I apply it a few minutes before I get in the shower and wear a shower cap on so it doesn't drip on me. I would love some other toning reviews! I am using one from AG and not super happy with it. It doesn't do much for me... I will definitely be trying Pureology's. What a great difference in one use!
Sorry im a late viewer, but I have been platinum my whole life pretty much. I picked up my Ulta order yesterday with this and the cure line. I only tried the purple, and I dont know where this has been my whole life! Hands down best purple ive used and I've used them all I feel. It smells fabulous, the tone is beautiful, your hair is silky, and not drying at all. I used to use the purple bottles when I lived in Oregon. I dont know why I stopped, but I picked it all up. I am using Olaplex to try and rebuild my hair, I add a few drops of IGK purple toner drops into the Olaplex shampoo for my blonde and it has really been great for my hair, I may consider pureology if my hair ever gets back to a good state.
Abbey, have you tried the L’Oréal Ever Pure purple shampoo and conditioner? The reason I ask is I had those bottles a few moths back and then went with the Pureology products but something always seemed similar to me between the products and that was the color and the feel of them. They seemed identical... the shampoo is the same deep purple and the conditioner is that same deep blue-purple color. Aside from smell, they seemed similar, so I looked at both bottles of the products and compared them. They are like 95% identical, except for a few ingredients. Then I found out that L’Oréal owns Pureology... so I ask... what’s the chance that these two products are quite similar and have you personally reviewed them against each other?

In general I think it’s best to just not buy hair care on amazon especially reputable brands because they’re almost always fake. It definitely happens with skincare and makeup too but hair care seems to be the worst
Amazon is the worst for buying beauty products. I bought a purple toning shampoo and conditioner back in 2017 from there and it killed my hair. I just shaved it and started over. It was easier than trying to fix hair that was falling out practically. Redken purple shampoo is better than the Matrix one to me; but even then it is still not the greatest. Verb Purple Mask is what I am using now and the jury’s still out if I like that or not. Have you thought of trying Amika’s Bust Your Brass next time you have brass issues? I have been tempted to try it but still trying to get through my Verb Purple Mask and Matrix purple shampoos before I buy it.

I just started using Fanola no yellow and their Reconstructing conditioner. I’ve noticed that All purple shampoos are very drying including the Fanola brand. The Fanola reconstructing conditioner is also drying.
Im seeing a lot of comments about girls suffering from breakage so I want to share what I do to help my hair healthy intact and platinum. When it’s hair wash day if I notice my platinum hair is looking yellow this is the routine I use. I grab a hair mixing bowl i mix half No 3 olaplex. The other half is part pureology strength cure blonde conditioner & shampoo, keratin leave in plus from it’s a 10, No 0 olaplex & finally Keractive 911 emergency hair treatment. I don’t use a lot. With expensive products a little goes a long way. I apply it to wet roots only my roots the rest of my hair is dry I use a spray bottle. Then the remaining product I run to my ends I let it sit for a minute and add more water till it becomes a nice lather. I let that sit for another minute I then wash it out with the help of my pureology volume conditioner. I find this helps my hair a ton. If by next wash it’s still platinum & fresh I go in with a TIGI shampoo and mix it w a TIGI reconstructer. I find that if you’re a blonde shampoo by itself is always going to be too harsh. I really only corporate purple shampoo into my routine to tone. Hoped this helped someone.

I love your hair videos so much! It’s been helping me a lot on what I need to do! I have such hard water where I live and it is so hard for me to not have breakage in my hair. I try to wash my hair 2 times a week at most! But it is hard for me since my hair by the third day is so crispy and dry. I try to add oil but it doesn’t really help detangle and sometimes break off more hair. Is there any advice on this?

Omg 5 years ago I did a keratin treatment*, Brazilian blowout, and i swear it damaged my hair but nobody believed me! And then recently I had my hair had my hair baby lighted all over recently and the girl completely damaged my hair and I spent 400 on it. Afterwards the owner ignored me and all i wanted was a conditioning treatment and for her to make it right. It is crazy how your hair can be great and then 1 incompetent person can ruin it and now we r on UA-cam. Oh well, people like that will get what is coming..karma. god bless.

I’ve been using the shampoo more often because I ran out of my normal strength cure shampoo but I found that it really doesn’t lather up enough for me. I think when used with another shampoo it’s fine but I don’t feel like it does a good job getting my hair clean in its own
Abbey Yung purple shampoo can be very drying when used regularly on the hair so my hairdresser told me to mix half and half of the purple shampoo and half moisturising shampoo for maintenance, it’s worked out great so far 🤩...Also I have fanola shampoo in my cart ready to purchase as per you tuber ellebangs who swears by it ...have a great day beautiful 😊
