These two know what they're doing. I asked their competitors about thermal bridging in their "eco homes" and they haven't even considered it. I love that these passive houses are basically "off the grid". You don't have to rely on anyone but it's not like you're living in some shack cursing out the government. These have style!
I just hit up Whitney and Ash... Ashley for a quote on how they can renovate my home and relocate me for the environment! I didn't know I was such a garbage human being until Flipanthropy!
That guy seems so laid back, I can’t even see him standing up!
After handing her the candles... "so if you wanna bag those up...?" Classic Nathan.
You can tell the banker genuinely appreciates her passion for the community. We need more Ashley’s and Whitney in the community
Really awesome for HGTV to back these lovely people.
Asher is so personable! I just can tell people enjoy being around him.
Whitney is glowing with excitement in nearly every shot. She loves helping the community, and it shows.
The husband really takes this show to soaring new heights
This direct deposit scene has me in tears
"... in the words of Gandhi" - *gestures towards Nathan*
I will never get over how the creators of The Curse can depict so much using nuances like this one.
Her new landlord seems so nice, a 3-day grace period is a life saver! ❤
In 19 months she’s going to feel like a queen paying for a more expensive apartment! I applaud these two helping upgrade everyone’s lives through subsidized gentrification!
Wow, a passive home! I think I read about those in Amazing Architecture.
omg hi queen pls do an asmr zillow tour of the española passive home
Met Topher in Fidi the other day, he was helping a delivery robot get its wheel unstuck from under a fallen branch. Down to earth, real guy.
Nathan Fking Fielder and Emma stone.
Sign me TF up fam. I am sold.
Right!??!?
theres a show with them already. it's called The Curse and its about nathan's real life struggle with a micropeen
It's so kind and thoughtful of them to help her leave her home so they could tear it down.
We need more people like Whitney and Ash.. Ashley.
Oh... I thought it was Ashton...
YES! These are the people who make communities THRIVE.

A genius, an absolute artist.
Topher is super under-rated, hes playing a huge role in the eco friendliness of the community they all hold dear to their hearts
The grandparents dying in the house and the house being cold (cold spots) lead me to believe the home is haunted. Destroying the home will only make the spirits angry and they will likely continue to haunt the new passive home.
I remember reading something about a ghost realtor in the LA area, maybe Ash and Whit can subsidize an investigation out here too?
I really liked the husband on this episode. He felt very calming and stoic and brought a levity. I lvoe tuning into this show every wednesday and friday with my husband and son
Terrific that Elizabeth got the opportunity to ride in an electric car. Such a cool experience, Congrats Lizzie!
This community is so lucky to have people like Whitney and Asher ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bravo, algorithm. This came up on auto play after a real HGTV vid. A few minutes in, I was so deeply confused and disturbed that I wanted to throw my phone into a wall. Luckily the skinny jeans came out and sent me to the comments instead. Thank you, Nathan!
Asher seems like the type of guy to graduate from one of Canada's top schools with really good grades
There’s always at least one line in Nathan’s stuff that makes me laugh out loud. “I didn’t understand what was happening but then they explained it to me and I understood what was happening”. 😂😂😂😂
what a great group of people. inspiring... profound...
The way Nathan completely disappears into Asher is just incredible. He's truly acting on another level. Look out Emmy's, that business grad's coming for the top prize next year!
Boy, I feel so rejuvenated seeing another community improved by hardworking entrepreneurs.
The honest passion that Whit, Asher, Dougie, and OTHER CREDITS TBD have for their community is truly inspiring.
Woah ❤ Bet she was feeling a little powerless about the unexpected and immediate increase in her monthly rent so the fact that theyre going to subsidise the difference for the next 18 months is breathtakingly human. And to throw in the gift bag too! ❤❤
If she sells the bag she could subsidize 1/3 of an additional 19th month! Win/win!
“Even though we’re knocking the house down, were maintaining the integrity, of the culture, and good hearted people in general.”
Nathan is really reaching for the stars with this new show
Thank you for everything you two do for the Espanola community, Ash and Whit!
Ashuwit
This is one of the shows of all time.
Y'all forgetting everyone is a fucking actor.
They did an awesome job
I love hearing that the passive homes are energy efficient while maintaining a comfortable temperature. Great work guys!
These two seem like they genuinely care about the community and aren’t there just for a big HGTV pay check. It’s very refreshing. Looking forward to seeing much more of Whitney and Asher! ❤
We need more people like Whitney and Ashley.
I really love that people are genuinely not getting it. It's just so deep.
I'm super glad they are keeping the heritage of the spirit of the home. Good people making the world better. Topher's eco-conscious experience is clearly going to pay dividends; for the environment.
i think this asher guys gonna take off straight to the moon!
😾😈
I love how real this is. You can tell that everybody in Española absolutely loves having these two disruptive dreamers in town. My hope is that our entire country can enjoy #passiveliving and keep the windows/doors closed - the air inside will always be #passivelyperfect . These houses are perfect, and so is this show. It's really that simple!
