Also, some trivia because I’m feeling it: Marshadow is the only Ghost/Fighting type, which is the only type combo that can get neutrally-effective hits or better on all Pokémon with STAB as well. Couple that with a high base speed, and you have a fairly flexible sweeper.
I've always thought about this ever since Zeraora was released, but what if they decided to give it an Electric/Fighting type? Would it be too broken? It would fit very well, since the pokemon really looks like a fighting type, and it would be the first to have this type combination ever, right now there are no Electric/Fighting types in pokemon. Zeraora can already learn a bunch of fighting type moves, but doesnt get STAB from them. Maybe it would be too broken, since those 2 types would synergize perfectly and counter each others weaknesses, so if the opponent pulls out a ground/rock type, you can easily outspeed it and use a STAB Close Combat and one shot it. Maybe that's why they didnt give it the Fighting type. Still, I feel like it was a missed opportunity, if it's a Mythical pokemon, it wont be tournament legal anyway, so might as well have some fun with it, right?
@@turboshazed7370 Yeah, Landorus would hard counter this Zeraora, intimidate cuts down its physical attack, it is immune to electric and resists fighting, the only way I can see Zeraora winning that match up is if it learned Ice Punch, which it will never learn because it would counter ground types, it's one big weakness. In general, Electric types with Ice type coverage are always good.
Let's take a moment to mourn our boy Darkrai who got nerfed to no end for no reason. I don't see why Dark Void should become 50% accuracy when it can no longer be used by another Pokémon. It is just sadistic at this point to fix the problem of Smeargle abusing the move then punishing Darkrai for it to the point where even in Singles it became a joke because of that one nerf. pls continue to do research along with us I learn everything from these vids!
Wolfe: "Meloetta is an easy S tier"
Me: *confused noises*
Wolfe: "Oh. I meant Magearna."
Me: "whew"
Magearna with choice scarf stab fleur cannon is really fun
Circling back to this with series 13 announced 😂
I ran a Arceus-Ghost with Phantom Force once, once you added on Swords Dance it one shot most mon's that didn't have Normal Type
I remember when Arceus was first released before Plates were even a thing, STAB Extreme Speed coming off of a base 120 Atk was crazy!
There were plates before arceus was released in an event so ur wrong
"Might as well have some fun with it" is definitely what was in their minds when they designed some of the legendaries/mythicals
Lol lando
Still needs to happen Lando can go commando
It is one of those decisions that make me quite angry
Suddenly very relevant O.o
Thank you wideo man, I love the tier list wideos!
Only OGs remember this room from the old WBE/GBA videos back in the day
Day 9 of requesting that Wolfe does a wideo in a green turtleneck so we can get a floating Wolfe head.
This is far more relevant now!
Wolfey 5 minutes in: I know this has been a long intro. Sorry.
Old Wolfey Fans: It could be 12 times longer.
3rd video asking for "Gardevoir is a threat", let's see how much it takes until it gets done
This video helped my confidence with Pokemon a lot, Wolfey. This game is so BIG, and I always feel like I'm going to get wrecked in competitive because, despite playing since 1996, I don't know enough. Watching a world champion be like "I don't know anything about Meloetta" makes me feel like it's okay for me to also not know things.
Imagine mew transforms into Shuckle, it would be immortal
but you'd have to bring Shuckle which is a big opportunity cost.
Another incredible accomplishment from Mr Accomplishment. This tier list seems about right from what I see. I really have no idea what any of these Pokemon do, I literally have never used them. Your guesses are better'n mine, Wolfey.
*Do I expect them to be legal?*
Two Years Later:
the lighting in this wideo is actually nice and warm. like hot coffee
Welp, this is very relevant now
6:21 Mew is really fun in Doubles because it can use Transform and Psych Up. Soul Dew Latios was so cool
Wolfey used teleport
:O
Glitch’s music is always a bop
Big agree
2020Wolfy: I like Volcanion I want to use it to bad it's illegal
2022 final season: I think I will let you do this.
Judgement is 120 bp usually anyways because of the 1.2x multiplier from plates.
