@@moonsad7514 Float Stone in VGC only has relevance when it comes to weight based moves. In the TCG, Float Stone gives a Pokémon with the item no retreat cost, meaning you can switch it in an out of attacking whenever you want.
I found flame orb sigylph hilarious. Magic guard prevents the burn damage and psycho shift let's you burn the opponent. Then cosmic power stored power for offence and I think roost for recovery? Don't know if that set up still works but it was a fun way to consistently burn physical attackers.
Would just like to say that I've been developing a rom hack and these videos are incredibly useful for gauging the competitive impact of anything I change in the game. It's especially useful that you actually give a rationale for your decisions!

I think you might have missed the low HP stat boosting berries (e.g. salac berry). I think they're in SwSh but I'm not completely sure. I've seen them used along with fling to proc weakness policy / justified which seems pretty good. Not sure how you would rate them.
I think an intresting follow up video would be taking the low tier items and taking about what would need to be changed for them to have a healhy niche in the meta

Maybe the boots are better in singles though, on Pokémon like charazard.
It's exactly as you said. Entry hazards are basically not used in VGC, so a Pokémon holding Heavy-duty Boots practically has no item. In singles, on the contrary, it's almost mandatory to have it on Pokémon that 4× weak to Rock

I wanted to add my two cents about the Binding Band. I haven't done top tier competitive, but in the lower tiers I have been having a lot of luck with it on my Blastoise. I won 5 games in a row using the same team (Urshifu-s / Jolteon leading, Blastoise / Yveltal in back to volt switch into). Basically I try to get Blastoise in to setup whirl pool and to Gmax around the end of the game. His moves are Hydro Cannon, Helping Hand, Whirlpool, and protect. Originally I just was using Jolteon to switch into Yveltal to give that Dark Aura boost to Urshifu, and I needed something for my fourth, and tried out this build and I have been enjoying it. Again, this is like pokeball tier, I just put this team together today, but I've been having some luck with it so far.

Binding band actually increases the damage of the trapping moves from 1/8 max hp to 1/6 per turn. The one that increases the duration is a grip claw.

I wanted to add my two cents about the Binding Band. I haven't done top tier competitive, but in the lower tiers I have been having a lot of luck with it on my Blastoise. I won 5 games in a row using the same team (Urshifu-s / Jolteon leading, Blastoise / Yveltal in back to volt switch into). Basically I try to get Blastoise in to setup whirl pool and to Gmax around the end of the game. His moves are Hydro Cannon, Helping Hand, Whirlpool, and protect. Originally I just was using Jolteon to switch into Yveltal to give that Dark Aura boost to Urshifu, and I needed something for my fourth, and tried out this build and I have been enjoying it.
Again, this is like pokeball tier, I just put this team together today, but I've been having some luck with it so far.
