You made a good decision, Samic. I can't imagine how stressful it must be to on top of dealing with the troubles of real life, have to see your own work and form of art being constantly put down by a platform that doesn't help its creators. Your passion for the videos and the topics you introduce are admirable, really! So many would just pick the money above everything, but you made the right choice for you and your health.
It's a shame you won't get compensated for the amazing content you put out, but if that lets you be free to experiment with your creativity, then it seems worth it. Don't rush yourself into posting things, just go with the flow and your availability. You deserve to be proud of what you make, so spend as much time as you want so you can be satisfied with yourself.

I understand! I used to have monetization on another channel of mine but, I didn't upload in ages and it got disabled. At least I don't have to stick to the same form of content now and I can upload whatever I feel like so that's nice ^^
I completely understand your decision as well. I don't worry about copyrights because I have no plans to monetize my videos. Plus, I don't want the thought of monetization to take away the fun of it

That's understandable as someone who still after 10 years of doing this UA-cam thing I have made no money and that's ok but also yeah the Copyright system is broken like crazy but I hope you are staying safe mate and I wish ya nothing the best

Alright, obviously turning off monetization is your decision, and doesn't negatively affect anyone else. But what I have to say is there's not really harm in leaving it on. Just make videos as if your channel isn't monetized, whatever you want, just for fun. And while you won't earn much, you'll still be earning something while expressing yourself. Basically what I'm saying is you can leave monetization on, while just not taking how much you make too seriously.
Another thing, people still get ads even on channels that aren't monetized, so why not try to get something for those ads.
Don't lock yourself into one type of video, stop taking how much you make too seriously, but leaving monetiztion on could be beneficial as it'll net you some money still.
Ultimately, it all comes down to your personal stake in it and how much you enjoy doing what you do. If monetization became too stressful, then yeah, cut it out and just adhere to strokes of inspiration rather than schedules and algorithms.
May this decision lead you to more inspirations and less stress in your endeavors, and may your next video come out great.

I get ads when watching my own videos. Unfortunately, I don't think turning off monetisation turns off ads.
