- Our tour of Malaysia is over and we’re spending today flying from Kuala Lumpur to Manila, Philippines. Since we have a 6-hour scheduled layover in Manila, we’re going to make the most of the airport amenities, but since we have to exit the secure area and recheck our bags anyway, we might take advantage of a special opportunity that presents. There's also a bridge that links Terminal 3 and Newport City (the area where Marriott is) that you guys can just walk and not take a cab to. Newport is a great area if you have a few hours to kill in between flights.

@@AlwaysBeChanging we are still under construction for another year. It’s in CDO about 4 hours drive to Davao. We are also about 4 hours drive to Siargao. Mindanao has so much to offer so I love that idea of your family exploring Mindanao.

The W has a younger hip vibe. The Shangri-La is much more family friendly. But both great hotels.

husband here - that very stupid E - arrive - back in 2021 ( i forget ) but it was quite technical for two old folks to figure out. This was when you had to do it within
so many hours before you leave and actually arrive. We were struggling - didn't know how to upload our fax cards - Urgent call to our son - he was able to help
via face time or we might still be trying to get that form done. Also have the covid test within a certain time. Our own HMO couldn't help us. It cost us $300. each
to get an emergency Covid test. The current E-verify is pretty easy if not pressed for time.
That is so expensive and ridiculous! That makes me frustrated they charged you too much. Obviously taking advantage.
at least one company saw a chance to make a lot of money by processing your covid test within a couple hours. With the
requirement to have that within 12 hours of your trip was very hard to get done. Our own HMO said it would take at least 24 hours. We and many others were stuck. Also companies charging you do do your E-arrival when it is and was free.@@AlwaysBeChanging

Did they even check the QR code in Manila? I have spent time on it and they haven’t asked the last few times…. Looking forward to seeing you in January for the meet up!
They do not check the QR code because once you fill out the information and it’s linked to your passport number, they have it in their system so when you go through customs, they see what you filled out. It’s still mandatory but they won’t ask for it if you do it.

To me, Changi is the best airport but nothing beats the feeling of landing at NAIA. As soon as I get off the plane, I get a hit of humidity that I miss and the smell that's so familiar. I soon perk up even when feeling jetlagged and grumpy.
I am sure you guys feel the same when landing at your home turf.

W Hotel is a very cool hotel.
It was super chic and hip. We would stay there again. The rooms were really spacious and nice too.

If you are in Terminal3 and want to do a quick layover in Marriott just like what happened. You can use the Bridgeway connector called Runway Manila. No need to ride a taxi. Very accessible. Calories burned too. :)

Hi Guys, another great video, all natural, so we get to see how things could be for us when we do our adventures - I hear you are doing your African videos soon, that should be fun, BUT don't get disheartened if your views drop, which they will, I analyse many of my clients channels and many of them when travelling Africa see a significant drop in views and hours watched ( as I am sure you know its not the amount of subscribers that drive the channels growth, its viewing hours and most importantly retention), so I always suggest to them to up their game on Titles to really catch the interest of the viewer, making them wanting to know what happened during this video, like are they OK, or did they get there etc etc, instead of the usual 2 nights in wherever, sometimes the places we visit just grab peoples interest due to high tourism and others need extra sparkle so the viewer wants to see what happened - Anyway give me a shout if you need any help, but most importantly enjoy your time with the kids and each other.
