Me and my cousin had one, that got passed down and eventually lost but, it was a Ferrari looking one, bright red with a front trunk, big ole wing to put your cars or halo Legos on them😂😂

was gonna say the same thing so looked for the comment 1st....but yes cut out the plastic exhaust and make the real one go in place

I like the wider back wheels fits to the car style

I think the "bubble" tyre look fits the cartoon style body.

Now just add a small 12v battery in the front and run some headlights and taillights. Then put a spoiler on it. And I’d say maybe think about a TURBO!

This was a refreshing approach to build videos. You stated the goals of the project, you built the project and ended with action shots of the finished project. No b-roll antics from shop characters, no moments where you stop to say, “this video brought to you by…” - just a straight forward awesome build.

The more I look at the back, the more I feel SN95 Mustang taillights would work well. The 94 to 95 taillights. Maybe Foxbody LX style tailpipes. Just a thought.
All those ideas are great. You could also cover up the front open space with one of those large blue plastic drums, give it a fake hood.
I would stop riding all my motorcycles and just cruise around town in this thing.....awesome!
The best looking rafe car bed Ive ever seen. Obviously a hard thing not to jump on in terms of a gokart build. Looks like one out of the box. You are so lucky to have a gokart.
Awesome!! And love the Predator engine sounds, especially single cylinder!!! Maybe I would make a mini 2023-24 Silverado 3500HD Dually powered by 2 Predator 420's that could rev up to 9K+ Rpms!!! (Imagine?!)
Adding a rollcage, and a custom body kit would look awesome!!! It looks surprisingly good, I would've never thought of using a car bed 😆

I know! I wanted to dual it out the back so it was just temporary, but then life happened. I'm going to space the tank up a bit for now and add clearance and duals if there is enough interest in another episode
I wonder what the original white wheel cover things might look like on those wheels and perhaps working tail lights.

the exhaust popping out of the actual exhaust holes would be amazing. The only thing that worries me is how close the exhaust is to the gas tank. As well as the gas line touching parts of the motor that could get quite hot. I would hate to see all of that work burn. Your version of the car bed is BY FAR the best. Looks so freaking cool. Love the idea of pop up head lights. I think in the future it would be super cool to see a full size bed build. Maybe even a full size lifted bed, for mudding or off road karting. You certainly gained a sub my man! hope to see tons of spin offs and an entire series on this!
All smiles here. I've always dreamed of building a go cart since I was pre teen. This gets me all giggly and stuff.
So rad! Pop up headlights, led taillights, and see if you can figure out how to put the original 5 spoke plastic "wheels" as hub caps, would me amazing! May e some sorta floating bracket off the kart wheels or something.

Really cool. I've always wanted to do one of these. . Wanted to make a little bit of a hood further up the wheel wells then makeshift windshield . Would look more like a convertible Corvette sort of thing💯

Definitely would look better with some LED headlights/taillights and dual exhaust tips in the same spots as the bed. Maybe even a grill in the front.

That current wheel setup looks cool wide in the rear skinny up front I’m a fan of the staggered setup only way I’ve seen to get wide tires for 6” wheel is getting slicks
I suggest you add back and front lights and add some decorative intakes

Yous should add decals to make it look like a Honda nsx, the body shape already looks like one!
It really depends how absurd you want it to look, I'd go all out on it.
A Bonnet, headlights and brake lights, turn signals.
A ridiculously HIGH chassis mounted style wing/spoiler, wide arches and wider wheels and tyres. Maybe a drift style paint job or a racecar livery.

You should seriously consider throwing in some led headlights and taillights into that! ❤
It even has the shapes molded in the plastic!
For the tail ones you could paint the whole 'molded' ones black and fit a couple round ones inside. (Or led strips!)
And in the front, fog lights in the holes with a grill in the middle and two round ones on each side above, at both sides of the white logo!
Even paint the bumpers black too!
And small license plates! 😂

the drum brake band might be installed backwards. you always want the pulling force to also follow the rotation of the wheel. ill try to illustrate with typing.

Perhaps the steering can be cable pulled so it can be lower to the floor without being very sensitive
I wanted a race car bed when I was a kid but my parents told me they were for babies, I wish you had made this a few decades ago I could have proved them wrong. lol
I love seeing your videos starting to get more views and some others starting to leave comments. Your projects are really fun and interesting so I'm sure your channel will continue to grow. It seems like it can take ages to get those first milestone in followers and watch hours, then you reach a point and a channel will really take off.

I LOVE this! And I award you 1750 internet bonus points for not having your POV camera looking down at the road.
I would maybe mount an L-type bell-crank at the chassis level to control the steering, and weld a short control arm onto the steering wheel shaft to control it via a push-pull rod. You could set the steering ratio to whatever you like then.
I bet a KT100 would fit in there fine. It needs a tuned pipe, which will really add the extra spice, especially if you put a CRE7 on it. 🏎

This was a great video and an amazing build, nearly on par with a grind hard plumbing video but on a smaller scale. I'd really like to see you do a Honda cub 50 with fat tires and ape hangers.
I really enjoyed this and I look forward to seeing more fun and unconventional builds.

Dual exhaust and lights for sure
I was hoping you would have kept the wide tires! Looked much more race like. Some underglow blue lights would be cool and headlights. A gamer steering wheel like would make it look more cartoon /child like as well if that is possible.

just gotta wire some custom lights into the existing molds, maybe see if you can reuse the original "hub caps" that were on the bed wheels, just to have a bit of a giggle.
