This stuff makes me grin, and smile. The acting is so over the top!lol!! Jimmy is the best manager heel, and Lance is the best at announcer on the mic.I never got to see this stuff at Mid south. They butchered Jimmy in the WWF.I was off the wagon when the Vince/Hulk thing was happening. This Memphis stuff is funny!!Love it!!
Jimmy Hart was a master at playing the victim. Miz and R-Thruth and their conspiracy victim don't hold a candle to the way Hart was able to manipulate it.
Jimmy Hart is so AWESOME! This guy is something else. I loved watching him growing up in Memphis. Memphis Wrestling in the 70s and 80s had the very best storylines and gimmick matches by far. And some of the best workers ever and best interviewers ever!
Is there anyone who has any Idea were u can get full episodes of this? Im 43 and grew up watching it out of Louisville, if I could find this stuff I would probably never watch WWE or TNA again, reruns of this is beyond what todays live stuff will ever know!!!! Lakecumberland I couldnt agree more Lance Russell never got the credit he deserves!!
What a sportsman Jimmy Hart is. Even though Stan Lane Pearl Harbored Jimmy Hart, Hart wants to sit down and talk with Stan Lane and work things out. Unfortunately the chair is jammed shut so Jimmy tries to open it. Who cares if Stan Lane was injured. He deserved and demanded that beat down. Thank you Jimmy Hart for your commitment to fair play and sportsmanship at the highest level.
Before this incident, Stan Lane never spoke. He just wrestled. Sweet Brown Sugar didn't speak until he joined the First Family of Professional Wrestling. I saw this live and I laughed my butt off as a nine yr. old.
Man this is a classic Jimmy Hart was thinking of a lie pretty quick that was a good one because Stan had busted him more please I know there is more from stan lane after that comment do you have more episode of that?
The amount of attractive women in the WMC Studio Arena is amazing compared to the crowd on WWE TV in 2018...it's all twentysomething dudes in Bullet Club shirts. 😰
Ric McCord got his start in Angelo Poffo's ICW promotion. Somebody said McCord was a pioneer in backyard wrestling. After Memphis, he held titles in San Antonio and Kansas City. McCord was pretty good in the ring, but he wasn't good on the mic and had a squeeky voice. His real name is Patrick Helvey and currently owns a limo company in Roanoak VA.
The case of the lying, thieving Manager (especially if it's Jimmy Hart leading the way in this storyline), is great! I wonder what would happen, if WWE were to employ such storylines? They've got a great storyline going with the whole Monday Night Messiah/Rey Mysterio Feud. Aaliyah really adds a load of spice to that storyline, and personally, if that storyline is worked just right, a little at a time, and it isn't rushed or changed, I feel that it has a real chance at being the best storyline in quite possibly the last decade!
This is KOKO Ware, not Skip Young. Ware didn't use Sweet Brown Sugar gimmick in World Class, nor Championship Wrestling for Florida, because Skip was using it. Also, Ware was using Stagger Lee in CWA shortly after JYD did in Mid South.
Jimmy Hart is a Christian man and these charges by Stan Lane are very very serious and very very false. I want to up that bounty by 1,000 dollars because I totally believe Jimmy Hart a man that lives by The Good Book. Daddy
@mamacornettesmoney That's a huge leap in assumption. I welcome counterpoints and debate willingly, but Internet debating is getting old. A year ago, when I made that comment, I looked at it from a perspective more informed by what I felt was a perceived obligation for people to integrate. From my current, more atheistic viewpoint, I GET IT NOW that people are tribal, and that they should definitely pursue the primal urge to congregate with their own. It's nature. You're absolutely right, and n
Vince maybe to blame but so are the lack of fans.Everybody says the love & miss the old action but looking @ old attendance figures they didn't support anything but WWF.Wrestling did not help itself either with all the young deaths
This was so great, but I guess the promotion couldn't have the entire First Family turn face at the same time. Hahaha! Someone had to believe a "Christian athlete" like Jimmy Hart.
You know what else used to be awesome about Memphis wrestling on channel 5? THE OPENLY-SEGREGATED AUDIENCE! Swear on my mother: How many times did I turn on that show and see white fans on one side of the studio and black fans on the other? It's weird and sad to remember that, but--that's the place I call my hometown.
We use to go to ch 5 studio to watch this and they didn't tell no one where to set, we mail a request for 4 tickets they came , we went sit as we please, it use to be 12-16 of us, we black kids sit together we all knew each other, stop the race baiting , if you went enough you start to no the white and black people , wrestling and Memphis bball bought us together
I remember this its still funny as hell ...you were drving Jerry Lawlers car...hahahaha
This is,when wrestling and the stories were fun to watch.
This was the best thing on Saturday t.v. back then and I loved it. Thanks for posting this
same here . . . eating my bowl of sugar snaps cereal and watching memphis wrestling was a saturday morning routine for YEARS.
This guy needs to hit the tracking button on his VCR
Stan Lane was the real deal. Him and Bobby Eaton were one of the best tag teams around.
Easily! Those two were Pure Wrestling Talent!!!
When Jimmy Hart cries, he sounds like comedian Bobcat Goldthwait.
They sure don't make 'em like this anymore. Thanks Vince.
I've read about this angle of Stan Lane leaving Hart. This of course led way to The Fabulous Ones forming.
This stuff makes me grin, and smile. The acting is so over the top!lol!! Dude, I was laughing out loud at Jimmy 'crying' and trying to fix the issues in his family after he was skimming their money. Great, GREAT, stuff.
This is actually a fantastic gimmick
this is great.
Jimmy Hart is a real life money manager....He currently works for Wells Fargo as a teller.
jimmy hart needed to take an accounting class!!
There were a lot of Sweet Brown Sugars in the different territories of the 70s and 80s. This is indeed Koko Ware.
High Energy!!!
Jimmy Hart was a master at playing the victim. Miz and R-Thruth and their conspiracy victim don't hold a candle to the way Hart was able to manipulate it.
They didn't pay Lance Russell enough money, he and Solie were the best.
Jimmy Hart is so AWESOME! This guy is something else. I loved watching him growing up in Memphis. Memphis Wrestling in the 70s and 80s had the very best storylines and gimmick matches by far. And some of the best workers ever and best interviewers ever!

funny thing is people didn't know wrestlers got paid before this

You would have made an EXCELLENT commentator.
Pearl harbored. Classic gorilla monsoon.
stan lane with the epic moustache!!!
AWESOME JUST FUCKING AWESOME...THANK YOU
7:04 ...LOL @ Lance's reaction
Before this incident, Stan Lane never spoke. He just wrestled. Sweet Brown Sugar didn't speak until he joined the First Family of Professional Wrestling. I saw this live and I laughed my butt off as a nine yr. old.
Where did u get this great footage from
Whoop ass now...ask questions later!!! Great stuff...
Man this is a classic Jimmy Hart was thinking of a lie pretty quick that was a good one because Stan had busted him more please I know there is more from stan lane after that comment do you have more episode of that?
I Am Glad My Feet Are Off of The Floor, Listening To Jimmy Hart Sound Like A Poor Victim Near The End of This Video.
The amount of attractive women in the WMC Studio Arena is amazing compared to the crowd on WWE TV in 2018...it's all twentysomething dudes in Bullet Club shirts. 😰
Is this Sweet Brown Sugar ,Skip Young?
He looks like Koko Ware through the quality and I never knew Skip Young was a heel.

Can you find any match with Stan Lane VS Steve Keirn during their fued of 1981?
I twas before the days of "sports entertainment". Wrestlers actually bled back then. :-)
Me or my twin @ 3:43
This is KOKO Ware, not Skip Young. Ware didn't use Sweet Brown Sugar gimmick in World Class, nor Championship Wrestling for Florida, because Skip was using it. Also, Ware was using Stagger Lee in CWA shortly after JYD did in Mid South.
I know
Dose anyone rember what rock Jimmy Hart played with?
Sherrie Crouch The Gentrys.
I BELIEVE JIMMY HART ....
I believe he's just flat out lying here, that's what I believe!!!
Any footage of Stan Lane's bloody matches in Memphis with Steve Keirn
Jimmy Hart is a Christian man and these charges by Stan Lane are very very serious and very very false. I want to up that bounty by 1,000 dollars because I totally believe Jimmy Hart a man that lives by The Good Book. Daddy
check timmyb's channel. He has like 86-89.
+Stephen Bianchi Thanx. Daddy
Joseph Pomar pay your ties to Jimmy Hart!!!
Jimmy Hart (at that time, that is), claiming to be a "Christian athlete"...yeah, right! This guy was as slippery as an eel!
put howard Youngblood name in the hat said bubba Youngblood any time of the day the assassin from Augusta ga"""

why is one guy getting $7000 and the other guy getting $5000 ?
You would think the guy getting less would raise an eyebrow, or at least say something! LoL!
some fighters made more in the main event. The early bouts were flunkies.
Maybe because The Dream Machine
had been in The First Family longer
than Koko Ware had.
Vince maybe to blame but so are the lack of fans.Everybody says the love & miss the old action but looking @ old attendance figures they didn't support anything but WWF.Wrestling did not help itself either with all the young deaths
@selimaazouri Makes you hate him even more don't it?
This was so great, but I guess the promotion couldn't have the entire First Family turn face at the same time. Hahaha! Someone had to believe a "Christian athlete" like Jimmy Hart.
@mamacornettesmoney
I said that one year ago. Now?...I say "absolutely nothing".
The angles were so much better back then. The WWE is shit.
@mamacornettesmoney
Not making a big political statement--just talking about what I saw. Nothing more.
Jimmy! Oh no! Thief! Liar!
Stop crying Hart u tripping u a ripping them off
